Gore for the sake of gore could also classify as that. That's why i wouldn't really consider made in abyss as torture porn. Even JoJo has more gore than that (reminder that in episode 10 of part 4 ) |

But if I had to I would consider shows like Corpse Party or Pupa torture porn, Re:Zero isn't even THAT gorey. Or at least not gorey enough that I'd call it torture porn. (A.K.A it has more to offer than just gore.. Like........ Elizabeth.) |

| I don't think anything I've watched would come under that description. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few 80s OVA which did which I haven't seen, though. |
| On the top my head probably is Re-Zero. Probably because you got to see the girls or even Subaru himself died and suffered many times in many way possible which I believe doesn't need that much. |
