| Sleep deprivation doesn't kill. It just leads to problems. Drinking a ton of energy drinks while not sleeping overworks your heart. Just don't be an idiot with it. I don't know anyone who has died like that. The only person I know irl who doesn't sleep is me, and I don't drink caffeine anymore. I just stay up days without it. |

| I've got a sleeping disorder where unless i go for prolonged periods of time without sleep, I don't really need to sleep (days at least). Energy drinks can cause heart problems due to their effects, so even with sleep if you had a shitty heart and drank a shitload of redbull, yeah shit MIGHT go down. Sleep does not cause death, but it can be an indirect cause of it as your motor functions stop functioning like normal. This is specifically why Truckers are REQUIRED to sleep a certain amount of hours A DAY and not drive for days without sleep. Sleep deprivation is Driving Under Influence. In saying all that, I have myself stayed up for, the most I remember, 7 days straight. No issue, slept for a bit after though. I've drank 3L of redbull in under an hour. No issues, but I did feel bloated. This while already being up for 2 days and i stayed up for another day after. So take what you will from that. |
