Is that less is more, meaning that you don't need to draw hard lines indicating every curve and crevice. For instance the lips and bridge of the nose are smooth cylindrical surfaces in most cases so you can imply that the noes or lips are there with what ever isn't being hit by hard light by only lining the parts that are more in shadow, or not being hit by light at all if you're only doing line art |
