My high school prom is at the same time and location as an anime convention I'm going to. Thoughts and advice?

| Fuck the prom. Nothing happens in proms anyway. Even if you get a date, it's only for one night. Spend your time and money on something more worthwhile. Go to the convention, buy all the doujinshi you can find, then go home and indulge with your treasures on that day and the many days after. |

lol Op i've been going to acen for about 3 years now, and it's a tradition for the con goers to interact with the prom attendees. but it's on a friday, so you wont miss out on much: you may still catch a panel or two if you're into that, and then there's always the rave too. |

| You really only get one prom (unless you date high school chicks after you graduate). You have pretty much your whole life to go to anime conventions. I went to my prom and had a pretty good time. But then again, it's not like you're going to prom with anyone, so. |

| Go to the anime convention this year, then make sure to fail all your classes and get held back so you can experience your senior prom next year. |
