| i cant believe i got so far into this baseless shit plotless shit show. so many questions. how did satou get these ajins on his side with absolutely no persuasion? why is his plan so vague? 15+ guys and no one thinks to shoot him again? they left his rifle right next to him? they ask their elite military friends not to shoot and they COMPLY???? meanwhile MC has become an annoying sadist (for no reason) to the point where i categorize him as another villain of the show. i thought the plot would make us sympathize with the minority (ajins) as other shows do but nah, i want to see that kid get shot over and over. 1/10 show. |

| There's not a single party I wanna side with here, The MC's kinda weird, the old man's a sociopath and the humans are psychopaths feeling completely fine torturing and experimenting on these people. On one hand, you know it's their fault for pushing these people to become terrorists by conducting these inhumane experiments of em, and on the other hand, this is probably how things would normally go, humans fear the unknown, and they'll do anything to conquer that fear. The solution? drop a nuke and kill everyone and everything. |

| @hik1komori What more persuasion did you want? He took marginalized people and he promised a society for them. Whats vague about the plan? He's an ajin an he sees his kind as different from humans, so he wants to wage war on them and make an ajin government. They were in close quarters and the formation was broken, they would have killed each other by shooting in that situation. Yeah the rifle thing makes no sense, don't know why they left it near Satou. I think the point of the author is that he doesn't want you to be sympathetic with either side. |
| The standards are lower but yeah, I think this was the best episode since the start. Just shows how much of a better character Satou is from the main guy who's just chilling around in an old woman's house and duping her at every chance he gets. Though yeah, his days are over it seems... I mean that old guy is definitely going for him and that reward lol. Btw, them not using tranquilizers has to be a really dumb thing. Forget about the live coverage, I mean y'all are here for a purpose. What's the point if you're not using something which could potentially have increased the chances by a huge percentage? Seriously, anyway Satou would've found a way even in that case, being honest. |
| Re-watching this show and yes, the plot holes are blatant. The fact that a professional SWAT team was there with only one pair of shitty zip ties instead of multiple cuffs, says a lot. They didn't even bother restraining him again, especially since he has shown he doesn't care if his hands or arms are cut off. Then there is the silly "don't shoot" bits during gunfire. The idiot SWAT team refused to move away and give clear way to shooters, they stood in front of each other surrounding the guy just yelling "DON'T SHOOT" instead of just moving away so someone can put a bullet in his head. This has to be the worst SWAT team, well maybe second worst than the American SWAT teams who stand around while kids are getting shot in schools. Episode was still fun if you ignore the plot holes though, which is what I'm choosing to do here. :P |
