| I use Gimp and for me mosaic does this: Maybe she's messed with the settings a certain way in the mosaic filter to achieve that pixel-y effect, 'cause there are plenty of settings that I can change before applying it, but idk what she's done. |

| Mosaic on photoshop creates tiles >mosaic >sharpen mosaic layer >overlay >mask the overlay - erase to your liking I can pm u a link for photoshop if you'd like. I personally used gimp few years ago, and it's just far inferior imo. |

| Those directions don't give me the same effect as in the Splatoon chibis or the club profile picture. And I've not had a problem with Gimp. If I can't do as much as other card makers it's because my own skills are lacking, not the program. |

| That's because my directions was directed to photoshop lol, hence why I offered to give you a free PS link. If that's what you think, then so be it. This effect doesn't require any "skill". It's 3 simple steps, available using photoshop. |

| I'm usually able to adjust PS directions to Gimp, though. And I can make the same effects in Gimp that others can in PS. If I can't do them it's because I lack the skill/knowledge, not the Gimp is "inferior" or can't do the same effects. I understand it might not be as great as PS, but it still gets the job done. I know I can achieve this effect in Gimp, I just need to figure out how since obviously the steps are going to be different. |

| This step is easily google-able for photoshop, but I am unable to find anything for you on it for gimp. If you really would like to stick to gimp, that is perfectly ok. Just note you can always use both programs, photoshop for specific things you can't figure out on gimp. |

| Why don't you just get PS, Arrilou ? I think PS is much more better than GIMP in every aspect. And it's not complex at all or anything like that. I tried GIMP once, too. And I wasn't really fond of it. |
