Hilariously bad.

Characters were irritating, uninteresting and I did not care for it one bit.
No idea why it was put here. Earlier episodes weren't emotional so it was not like a break was needed.
Also, no judgement on the characters was passed so even the writers did not put much effort in making this episode fit into story.

Miss the old style of the episodes with Decim, hopefully it'll return to that in the next episode. We didn't get to see who was reincarnated and who was sent to the void, either.

No judgement for either of them then? Presumably, either both of them would get reincarnated, or at least Mayu would. Or is hanging out in Quindecim forever also an option? I have no idea how the world here operates any more, so it wouldn't surprise me.

It was adequate as a comedic episode, and ironically enough, handled better than all the previous melodrama was.

I like how so far the story continues to try to innovate, I mean, the initial proposal is the same (judging the dead) but this time we see it being done by another character (I still prefer Decim)

I actually really loved this episode, Silly goofy levity with just enough of the usual drama and pain to keep it in line with the rest of the series. If they (or at least Mayu) stick around after this episode, I hope they don't overstay their welcome and derail the vibes.

even though the idol had some redeeming moments, i think he got off easy cus it didn't seem like he changed his ways after the suicide, he still met her older sister and got blasted
