As Ashikaga sat there at the front office tapping his finger impatiently he then looked down at his hand, without the command seal. "Perhaps I should get some gloves...Or longer sleeves? Is being concealed really the best idea?" He asked to himself as he looked up at the office lady as she told him that such a student didn't exist as he rose an eyebrow. "You sure? A big ol' fella who looks like he's hopped up on serious. He got, big old shaggy hair, deep dark eyes and a huge muscular body with dark skin tone?" He asked the whole time making all kinds of silly moments with his hands to try to give the office woman a picture of what his servant looked like. If Elizabeth was really that foolish. He would easily stand out. Before he suddenly heard berserker speak to him as he jumped back and turned around, throwing up his hands. "Who ha wha? Who the hell goes there? Ashikaga is not here!" The office woman raised an eyebrow at the strange red headed male as he seemed to start getting furious and deep into conversation...With himself. "Sir I am going to have to ask you to please leave."

Ashikaga turned around to look at the woman sternly. And then quickly realized by yelling at Berserker for what him and Elizabeth did. He had made a complete fool of himself. He probably even looked crazy. He awkwardly laughed closing his eyes with a single head nod. "Yeah, yeah. Right I should get going anyway, probably the wrong school." He said bursting out the door, the lady watching him the entire time as he left out the front door. And quickly passed off as he exhaled heavily. Sweat rolled down his forehead as he adjusted his suit and tie he had to put on. The male looked like he was truly cooking in the heat. "I hope your happy berserker, it is way to early in the morning to be pulling this shit." He sighed as he lowered his head and brought both of his hands up the back of his neck. Softly rubbing the back of his head, feeling his soft light red, almost orange hair.

When he made it back home to his apartment and slammed the door behind him. The second he did so, he turned to look at Elizabeth gritting his teeth slowly. Elizabeth turned around and jumped at the boom coming from behind her as Ashikaga entered. She then exhaled calmly as tears started to form in her eyes. Her golden eyes started to water, as she seemed to struggle to keep a straight face. Briefly snickering in between sentences. "H-how...did...It go finding...Berserker?!" She finished on a extremely high note as she bursted out laughing. Falling back down onto the worn, old couch, covered in food stains and white stains. The edges had been torn, and if you looked at the sofa cushions. They would also be torn as well. Revealing large amounts of the sofa cushion as Elizabeth turned over on the couch laughing. Grabbing her gut finding it hard to breathe.

Ashikaga sighed and went down in the small, and crowded living room to sit in the large chair that was fairly clean. Close to the worn down couch. And sighed as he sunk into his chair. "I am glad my misery can bring you two so much happiness...Come on now berserker. I would say we need to be pretty tight about this stuff. "Don't let little old Liz push you around alright big guy? We gotta keep in touch." HE said trying to talk over Elizabeth constant. laughter. "Oh, oh come now Ashikaga......Lets just shave his head, and face, put on a school uniform, and ship him to school! Hell, maybe we will even give him a full body make over while we are at it!" She laughed even harder as teased him in a cruel way. "Oh, oh. Oh, dearest Ashikaga you still have much to learn my pupil. She rose up on her side. Leaning on the right end of the couch, closer to where Ashikaga was sitting. "I think you both should but a little more confidence in me however." She said as her voice continued to shift in tone softly and chuckle from time to time as she calmed down.

"Everything I do is for the greater good of your victory in the grail war. You should know. If you two win, I will have raised the greatest pupil in all of the conjuration magical world! You know how much of a rep that we will have! We will be filthy rich. Everyone will wanna be us you know." Ashikaga sighed. "Up until a few days ago you didn't even know about the grail. And now that we know, you decide to promote your master status. No offense but I don't winning the grail will show that. Don't you think berserker? And besides, even if I did. Those aren't my kind of intentions for the grail.." He said narrowing his eyes as he softly clenched his fists. Elizabeth realized that she had touched a touchy subject. She bit her lower lip quickly before changing the subject. "Right, so berserker, what exactly would you like from the grail eh? I am sure even a simple guy like you has got to want something in his life?"

Servant: Berserker

Berserker is standing on the roof of his hideout, and senses huge mana output. He then scans the area for any signs of servants, and spots a blue blur south in the city.

A fight? Now? I must investigate.

"Master, I will return, I have sensed tremendous mana in the city".

*Berserker dematerializes and jumps from rooftop to rooftop towards the scene. He stays somewhat far away in order to avoid being spotted.

Saber? Archer? Rider? Oh man, what's going on. I better inform my master.

"Master! There are servants fighting in the city. I will keep close, but far enough where they can't spot me."

Berserker lands on one roof after several jumps, and rests there observing.

Servant: Archer

Shinto, in front of CRT store

"So, here's my offer", says the woman with short, red hair, and proceeds to explain it. Archer stands there, listening to it, and becomes a little disinterested in whole thing as the explanation progresses. Still, as his Master was pestering him, Archer transmits what's going on here.

As the discussion goes on, during which Archer and Rider both remain silent, the surroundings start to become darker. Suddenly, while Rider warns Bazett about another eavesdropper, Archer also detects another Servant signature, and looks in that direction; however, even though he knows a Servant is there, he's unable to see him. "Tch, we're gaining too much attention", Archer mutters, then speaks up something to the group before jumping away, dematerializing in midair as he heads towards Tohsaka residence while avoiding the invisible Servant.

*Archer leaves Shinto and heads back to safe zone in Miyama while avoiding any encounter. Travel time: around 15 minutes*

Tohsaka residence, dusk

Archer stands in the doorway to the western-style mansion, which is surrounded by the boundary field. His mood has become even more sour, as his whole appearance is messed by yoghurt covering him - a minor trap set to ward off thieves. Needless to say, he waltzed right into it, expecting that his Master already lowered it down for him.

After finally entering and closing the door, he goes to find the bathroom in the spacious mansion taking great care that Emiya Shirou doesn't see him.
Few minutes later, finally without any stain on himself, he joins Shirou in the dining room while trying to contain his emotions; even if he wanted to do something, he can't as long as Shirou has Command Spells. Though, for how long will he be able to stay calm, not even he knows...

"Well? Mind telling me more about why you sent me to that place?", Archer asks Shirou with displeased voice while stealing some food off Shirou's plate. "Pf-", he cringes as he tastes food and lashes at him, "Are you sane?" before proceeding to lecture him about cooking.

Once he's finally finished, he sits on the nearest sofa - or chair, if he can't find it - and describes more the people and Servants he met, not missing to add a sarcastic remark: "Well, that Saber's master is even worse magus than you are - if he's magus at all. Which is honestly surprising me."
Finishing, he seriously asks Shirou one simple question: "Do you know any of them?"

*Archer proceeds to rest and converse with his Master about Holy Grail War*

How interesting. Saber, Archer, and Rider are intending to ally with one another. These mongrels may actually be able provide me with some form of entertainment, a fortunate turn of events for this self-proclaimed "Emperor of Shrimps" who may be worth acknowledging after all. To have the audacity to summon me in such a lowly dark room filled with every type of shrimp available in this era and to promise me a unique experience which he insisted that I, he who owns all upon this world, could not have already had was certainly an impossible claim which would warrant punishment.

In humoring him before what was about to be his final moments, I had brought forth a number of fine wine from my endless treasury while he offered to me what he insisted were his finest shrimp. As we observed the actions of these lesser beings, I discovered that the Emperor of Shrimps may in fact be deserving of his title. His impeccable shrimp, recognition of my divinity, and understanding of Yuetsu compelled me to accept him as a respected ally in this "Grail War". Perhaps there may be others with a similar level of understanding who can be permitted to bask under my glory. Perhaps this world still possesses pleasures worth reaping.

I shall report my findings to "Emperor" Shrimpy.

Master of Archer, Emiya Shirou
Tohsaka Residence, dusk, in the living room

"-the mix of olives and mushrooms would be far better if you cooked it for seven minutes instead of five. And your fried rice was-"

"Shut up, idiot!" Shirou grumbled, his face turning red as he realised that he did in fact screw up, but that was because of how exhausted he was after the summoning, and totally wasn't because this thrice-damned idiot cooked better than he did. Really! He grabbed the teacup in front of him and gulped down some tea to hide his face.

"-so you should treat your food better! And I thought you weren't completely dumb," Archer finished, sitting gracefully on the armchair facing Shirou. He reached across the small coffee-table separating them and poured himself some tea from the teapot.

Archer then calmly spoke as he placed the teapot back on the table, "So, I saw two Servants today. Saber and Rider."

"Tch...fine, we'll talk more about food later. Tell me about them," Shirou said, folding his arms as he leaned back on the armchair. "Describe what they look like and what weapons they have."

"Well, how can I put this..." Archer drawled, his smirk firmly in place. "Rider was tall, had long pink hair and wore a blindfold."

Shirou blinked as he processed what his Servant just told him. Rider? As in the Servant summoned in the Fifth War? The one Kuzuki-sensei killed, huh? I don't know too much about her, but she used nails and chains as weapons. This could be useful information.

To Archer, he said, "Alright then. Carry on."

Archer rolled his eyes but nodded and continued, "Rider's Master is some pink-haired girl in a suit. Saber's Master...he wore a lab coat. Well, that Saber's master is even worse magus than you are - if he's magus at all. Which is honestly surprising me."

Shirou hmm'ed at that, searching his memory for any knowledge of the two. He drew a blank however, and sighed in annoyance.

"Do you know any of them?" Archer asked, breaking Shirou out of his stupor.

Shirou shook his head, looking gloomily at his teacup on the table. "Only Rider, but I don't know too much about her. She was killed early in my version of the War" Then, he looked back at Archer with a frown on his face.

"Wait a moment," he muttered, before snapping crisply. "You didn't tell me about Saber yet. Describe him."

Archer smiled serenely and raised his teacup. He sipped a bit of tea before saying drily, "Why, I didn't tell you about her because I thought you'd know all about her already, Emiya Shirou. The King of Knights is someone even I would remember mee-"

Shirou had stood up, his face ashen and his eyes wide. "What did you just say? Saber...she is in this war?"

"Yes, she is," Archer quipped, his smirk gone from his face as he studied his Master's abrupt reaction. "And she might be an enemy in this war. What will you do, Emiya Shirou?"

Shirou stared at Archer.

Archer stared unblinkingly back at him.

The silence stretched on until Shirou closed his eyes and slumped back into the armchair.

"The last time I saw her, I told her I couldn't save her," he muttered. "But now that she's under another Master, she'll have other goals, other priorities...How am I supposed to save her now?"

Archer continued to keep his stare on Shirou, before seemingly coming to a decision.

"Emiya. Man up," his hawk-like eyes glinted as he spoke. "Saber may not be your Servant anymore. So what?"

"What are you-"

"When you summoned me, you said something to me. You said 'This is the only path. I will not sacrifice anyone else. Innocents will not die because of this War. I will cut down any who seeks the Grail.' If this really is the same Artoria you knew, she'll join you in your little crusade. Then, after the War, you can start thinking about making her feel happy. That's when you can save her. For now, keep that determination I saw in your eyes. Don't back down from your path, Emiya Shirou. I did not contract myself to a coward of a Master. And if you can show me that the path you chose is the right one, the path so different from mine..."

A melancholy smile found itself onto Archer's face as he looked at the Shirou sitting across the table, a look of dawning comprehension on his features. If only I had chosen the same path as he did, I wouldn't be Alaya's pet dog. I thought about killing him at first, but this Emiya Shirou...

Archer stood up, his face schooled as he raised his right hand to Shirou. "Then I will offer you my full cooperation as your Servant in this War."

Shirou blinked at the outstretched hand, searching Archer's tanned face for any trace of sarcasm but found none. He shook his head and smiled. "To think I would shake hands with you...fate really is scary sometimes."

He brought his hand up and grasped his Servant's in a tight handshake, as Master and Servant forged an iron-bound connection, one that was stronger than any other, as Emiya Shirou and Emiya Shirou finally came to terms.

"Now then," Archer said as he combed a hand through his silvery hair, a smirk once again on his face. "Let's talk about your horrid cooking."

"Hey!" Shirou squawked indignantly. He didn't think that Archer would work together with him, but with this new development, he could finally trust his Servant completely. Now, he had a new goal to work with: to find Saber and together, they would face all the evils of this War.

*Emiya Shirou and Archer's relationship has improved, increasing the prana flow Shirou can give to Archer.*

Servant: Saber
Location: The street outside the Okabe residence/laboratory

It was Archer.
The olive tan, the silver head and that red jacket were not mistaken by Saber. It was Archer of the fifth Holy Grail War. Archer of the previous Master Tohsaka. Archer, who had nearly slayed Shirou Emiya, her last command-spell holder.

As he allowed himself to materialize before herself and Rider, it was getting increasingly difficult for Saber to give her full attention to the proposal that Rider's Master was setting forth. The red-haired woman in the suit hadn't finished her last sentence when her Servant cried out a warning for the presence of another Heroic Spirit in the avenue.

The fourth company's detectable aura disappeared almost instantly.
So did Archer's.
Left alone with the original intruders, Saber glanced at Okabe, who was wildly running around the street ends, trying to grope at imaginary magnetic fields while cackling about the ingeniousness of a non-existent, conspiring organization.
Sheathing her sword, Saber turned towards the other team and nodded.

"Your proposal shall be kept in mind," she said in a mistrusting tone. "Until then, we both remain enemies."

There was nothing else to be settled. If they had not come for war, Saber would not fight. Not today, at least.
She turned towards her Master, grabbed his upper arm and ventured inside the Lab, dragging a struggling Okabe along with her ("Stop it! Stop it, foolish woman of the 5th century! I must crack this code before it cracks me!")

She needed to do something about the scientist, and fast.

((I'm jumping a little in time for next conversation as I'm in the safe zone right now; after that, my partner and I will wait for others to catch up when Archer leaves the safe zone.))

Servant: Archer

Tohsaka residence, night

It has been some time after the two of them finished their conversation and Archer went to the roof of Tohsaka manor, wanting to both get away from Shirou for a while and to think about current situation.
'I'm becoming soft', Archer scorns himself. 'That idiot is still rambling about being Champion of Justice... but... he does seem different than I remember, and it seems he took a different path. Still... that doesn't give me any answer.'
He remains for quite a time there, monitoring the surroundings (at least what he can see as, and that's not much from his current place) while contemplating about what he's learned.

After the night has fallen, Archer returns to Shirou and speaks up offhandedly: "I'm heading out. Other Servants may become more active now, and it would be a good idea to know what's going on around. This place isn't good enough to watch from."

"However, knowing you, you'd do something stupid like charging alone at the enemy you can't defeat. Actually, feel free to do that at any point; at least I won't have to babysit you", he adds, deliberately trying to piss Shirou off as well.

As the two of them exit the building, Archer waits for Shirou to lock it. Last thing they need is someone raiding their safe zone.

Master of Archer: Emiya Shirou
Miyama Town, at the Intersection

Shirou activated the bounded fields to their maximum power, hoping that it would discourage anyone from trying to enter the Tohsaka manor. With that done, he and Archer strolled down the moonlit roads to the crossroads.

Shirou glanced back at Archer, and was not surprised to find him in spiritual form, completely silent. He knew the Servant was not happy that he, the Master, was putting himself in danger, but he had to do something. Locked up at the Tohsaka residence would accomplish nothing.

He needed to find Saber, and hopefully work out an alliance. He needed to find Kotomine, and send his black heart straight back to the hell he popped up from.

But more importantly, he needed to prove to Archer that his resolve was still there, that fire was in his blood.

So he decided, against his better judgment (and Rin's advice), to join his Servant in his excursions around town.

"Well then, Archer. We can go to Ryuudo Temple," Shirou said without turning back, pointing at one side of the crossroads. "Or we can go to Shinto. Where do you want to go?"

*Berserker jumped from roof to roof and landed back at the hideout. He walked into the house and found Ashikaga and Elizabeth sparring in the Kendo Dojo. Ashikaga thrusted forward in a dash attack but Eliza quickly and swiftly dodged before swinging her sword back around, landing a lightning fast blow into Ashikaga's side. They stopped and Ashikaga exhaled loudly.

"Damn, you beat me, I didn't even see that counter coming" - Ashikaga

"That's what happens when you tango with big league players, don't think you can beat me with a move like that" - Elizabeth said with a smirk.

"Pardon my interruption master, but we have a situation. There is a development in the city, four servants are on the scene, they were fighting but it seems now that negotiations are underway. Rider and Saber may form an alliance." - Berserker

"An Alliance? Who are Saber and Rider?" - Ashikaga asked.

Berserker's eye brow twitched. Is he serious? How is he even my master? He clearly does not have a great understanding of the grail war. God Damnit, need I explain it to them? I guess I have no choice

*Berserker heaved a heavy sigh and begin to explain the Grail War, who servants were and everything they would need to know. Berserker ended up conversing with them for an hour, but he finally managed to clarify things and get them up to speed.

Afterwords, Berserker dematerialized and went out to survey the area, Ashikaga came with him.

"My brain hurts! Ugh, I can't focus on this right now, I'll just make supper."

Master of Archer: Emiya Shirou
Shinto, Roof of Central Building

20 minutes later

It was a short walk to Shinto, where the lights were dazzling in the night and a stark contrast to Miyama's dusky, silent night. Shirou had spent the entire trip to the Central Building glancing left and right, hoping to catch a glimpse of his former Servant, but to no avail.

As Master and Servant strolled onto the rooftop, Shirou was hit by a wave of bittersweet nostalgia. This was where he had met Rin after he lost Saber, and where she had told her in no uncertain terms that if he were to carry on participating in the war, he would die.

He strode over to the edge, and shoved his hand into his overcoat pocket, where he kept the pendant. He gripped it, remembering how it saved his life and how he gazed into it after his meeting with Rin on the rooftop, desperately hoping beyond hope that he could do something.

Archer materialised beside him, and gazed silently at the city beneath them. Shirou sighed as he sat down with his legs dangling over the edge, and his eyes, as sharp as Archer's, combing the city for any sign of disruption.

He looked back up at Archer, and saw his stern features looking distantly at the view, with a slightly wistful smile on his face.

Despite all the asshole-ness and all that cynicism, he still misses this place, huh? He really is an idiot... Shirou thought as a smile crept up his face.

As they arrive to their destination, Archer materializes and stands near the edge of the building, looking into distance as he observes the city. Shirou sits down near him and, noticing that Shirou is smiling at him, Archer says: "Why are you smiling like a retarded monkey" and looks away.
"Nothing special", Shirou responds with a slightly teasing voice and averts his sight from Archer.

The two of them, despite being on the edge of the building, would be hard to spot from the ground without improved eyesight thanks to the darkness of the night. From there, Archer watches and waits for inevitable Servant encounters.

Overseer: Caren
Shinto, Kotomine Church

As soon as the troublesome event appeared to have ended, Caren let out a big sigh whilst continuing to observe from the glass of the Holy Scripture Raviel.

"Ahh, with so many Servants gathering in one spot, here I was hoping that there would actually be so bloodshed or carnage. Saber, Archer, and Rider, with Berserker, Lancer, and even Gilgamesh nearby... Truly, I'm surprised that not much happened."

As if to express her disappointment, she shook her head.

"Oh well. I suppose this is easier for me, isn't it? They didn't damage anything or cause any ruckus, so there's no need to cover anything up just yet. Plus, it's good that they didn't actually make that alliance, or else things would get boring really fast... Hm."

Suddenly, a knock came from the front door of the Church. Who could it be at this ridiculous time? Was it someone seeking salvation from the Lord? Was it someone with a mortal injury, seeking aid? As much as she wished it was either, it probably wasn't.

When she checked, it turned out to be a mailman. Dully, she read the letter she'd been given, which had come from-... Ugh.

Her eyebrow twitching, Caren sat down on one of the benches to write a reply.

Dear Kotomine Kirei

I do not know where you got the silly notion that you are my 'father', or in any way related to me, but if that were hypothetically true, then I would sincerely like nothing more than to gouge your eyeballs out of their sockets and crunch them before your very eyes. Figuratively, of course.

But literally works just as well.

Even so, I will consider that offer should I run out of entertainment and/or have a random craving for mapo tofu.

When you are dying, screaming in agony at the many pains that the world has wrought you, I pray that the Lord grants you a safe passage into the depths of hell.

Caren Hortensia, Overseer of the Seventh Holy Grail War

(Time of arrival: 5 hours from now)

...

"Now that that's done... I'm bored."

Glancing at Raviel once more, she decided: "Maybe I should visit one of the teams~"

Master of Caster: Kirei Kotomine
Ryuudou Temple

Kirei stood at the edge of the Temple looking out at the midday city that expanded before him.
Before long, Caster had emerged and joined him at the top of the stairs.
"It's been very quiet around here, hasn't it?" She remarked.
"I suppose it has, but I suspect that will all change sooner or later. The situation is growing more restless."
Caster, still weary of her untrustworthy master, doesn't feel like saying more. They are not on the same page, but they at least have the same goals and methods.

With his hands folded behind his back, a stern expression emerged over Kirei's face.
"Things are about to get serious. I hope the results are promising, or things might get very dire, very quickly."
Kirei's facial expression began to show signs of unrest, eventually shifting to a state that shocked Caster to her core.
Still pondering over the situation, a kawaii-eyed Kirei thought to himself,
"I hope Caren-senpai will notice me."

Okabe
Future Gadget Lab (FGL)

His face was flushed and he was feeling nervous enough to be at the breaking point.

Okabe instinctively pulled his cellphone out of his lab coat pocket and swung around holding it up to his ear.

“It’s me. The Organization’s double agent now has me in the depths of a horrific interrogation. I have no doubt she intends to break my will by subjecting me to these tortuous . . .”

Before he could complete his sentence, the young king had grabbed the cellphone out of his hands, and threw it across the room - eventually breaking as it hit the wall opposite.

“Enough!” Saber demanded with an authority that commanded the scientist’s attention.

She had never thought it would be this difficult to get someone to understand the situation. The voice she had just used to get her master’s attention is one she hadn’t used in a long time.

It took another few hours before the true nature of what he was involved in finally began to finally seep into Okabe’s skull. Many threats and a few acts of violence were required - with frequent pauses for Saber to be fed, of course.

With the current state of affairs finally comprehended, the once maddest of scientists was reduced to saying he needed time to think this over.

Saber gave a sigh of relief at the news, having just completed one of the most challenging and unforeseen obstacles she had ever encountered.

I review the reports from Gilgamesh.
It seems 3 servants may ally with eachother.
''Say, King of Heroes, what do you think?''
''We leave them be, after all, they just might prove entertaining together'' The Blonde haired King answers.
''I have another idea, my fellow King. Why not start a small spark between them, and then watch it all burn? Won't that be more enjoyable for you?
And If you want to have some fun yourself, there is a certain Hero that might be worth your time, after all.''
I smirk.
I smirk like a certain Priest i remember from Childhood.
And I wonder,
What happened to that Priest in the last few years?

Location: Future Gadget Lab/Okabe Residence, Fuyuki

Saber stood beside the window, munching on a generous piece of Japanese Sweet Bread and looking out over the horizon in front of her. The city was beautiful and she would never tire of the mountainous picture it painted through the skyline. The setting sun only added to the glory of the valley. The setting sun also called out the prayers for every Heroic Spirit and their Master to catch up to their guard.

She caught the reflection of her Master on the window pane--Okabe was bent on the floor, his hands clutching his head and his face buried within. The denial he'd been experiencing since the past three hours, not moving from this very state and spot on the ground, had begun to worry her. No Master had ever tested Saber's patience as this one had. It was only when she had, out of aggravation, directed the blade of her sword straight at his Adam's apple, did he close his mouth shut in fear. It was only then that she demanded his beliefs and refused him another option; she'd managed to reach out to some unyielding part of his brain, but it had left him in a devastated state.

"This can't be... the Time alter theory rejects the possibility..." Okabe continued muttering under his breath. "But she's done the impossible... how did she do the impossible... I need to reconsider... I must re-construct the equations..."

"Okabe?" Saber turned and probed gently.

"Yes, yes... Arthur... I know you're an honest Knight... yes, I believe you... yes, Physics, yes..."

Saber sighed and turned back to the view outside. This will require more time, and until then, it was best to stay within the Laboratories. Until the mad scientist recovered from his mental dilemma, they will not initiate a battle. They had too little information and too many enemies. They will wait for an approach.

For a moment, as she stared into the mountains, Saber thought she caught sight of two figures on the roof of the central building. She squinted to try and place their silhouettes into identification.

"SABER!" Okabe's scream cut through her vision and senses. "SABER, MY SERVANT!"

Saber turned to find a man she hadn't seen before: a man absolutely determined to follow the contour of his words. A man, standing erect with arms crossed and a grin on his lips and no doubt in his mind. A man who had gained acceptance.

"LET US GET THIS HOLY GRAIL!"

She smiled, the determination crossing into her.
"Hm!" She replied with a renewed resolve. "I, Arturia Pendragon, shall win the Holy Grail for you at whatever cost it takes!"

Servant: Berserker

Location Secret Residence in Fuyuki City

The air blew crisp, and gentle. Berserker stood (dematerialized) erect on the roof of Ashikaga's residence, staring out into the horizon, deep in thought.

The recent developments are rather grave. Not only that, Arturia was there. The same woman I clashed with in the 5th Holy Grail War, it looks like she's looking to become allies with Rider. It wouldn't help her much, Rider is very weak for a servant. She is comparable to the ant of our lions. No matter, she will be easy to take care of need be. Archer was there too, I hope he doesn't align with them, that might prove arduous an opponent.... Well maybe not. I've easily tanked both of their Noble Phantasms. They should not be a problem.

Berserker looked up from his deep concentration, and decided to go out for training.

"Master, I will return briefly. I've set up a powerful bounded field so no one should get in."

Berserker leaps from the secret residence (dematerialized) and heads out for his regular training.

"Anything new, Caster?"
"Nothing of importance, Master. I'm still setting up here, but I'll soon be at full power in a few days."
Kirei was about to say something else before his servant interrupted.
"We did get a letter." She said offhandedly, trying not to stare at her master's reaction.
At the sound of these words, stars almost seem to appear in Kirei's eyes. He quickly paced to the table it was laying on and picked it up. After grinning at the return address, he opened up the envelope and read the contents.

A dark cloud suddenly moved over his face. His eyes grew stern and any joy seemed to have left his face.
"What is it?" Caster asked, after following him inside.
"Nothing." Kirei answered grimly while crumpling up the paper and throwing it in the garbage.
"We're leaving."

Unable to resist the opportunity, Okabe pounces in front of Kirei striking a dramatic pose.

Master: Ashikaga
Sevrant:Berseker
Location: Suburb apartment complex

(Sorry for the long post again, bad habits are hard to break xD)

As beserker left them to observe the negations he let out a loud gasp of surprise as his eyes widened in confusion. Raising an eyebrow and an arm, as if expecting to catch berseker and stop him as he left, before realizing it was too late. "Ugh, what does that mean anyway? There are more servants like you berserker? Oh no this is not good at all." He sighed with a small groan face palming himself as he exhaled. "I wish there was a way to stop making berseker so reckless." He said looking up over at Elizabeth. Who was wiping a tear from her eye still laughing at the prank she pulled on her student.

Elizabeth then turned herself over on her back as she crossed her hands over her stomach and exhaled again. Looking at the roof of their apartment building. "Berserker is a funny guy don't ya think? He is kinda like a feisty little toddler in a way. A punch to the face, strong enough to leave permanent mark in someones face, then ask questions kinda guy. Fits him, but don't worry. Just relax and leave it to Berserker. He might not be the most polite, but are any of us truly? I was thinking about paying a visit to the Overseer when we get back. I feel like there is to much about this bloody war we don't know." She sighed closing her eyes for a movement to collect her thoughts as the room stayed silent.

The room was only lit up by the two windows that lit up the whole room in the time of day it was.. It was clear from what the direct sunlight showed, that the small apartment wasn't clean. But it's not like that was something they could help either. Elizabeth then quickly hopped up and clapped her hands together. Turning to Ashikaga to give him a bright smile while keeping her eyes closed for a moment."Well, berseker is putting out his neck for us for some info. So should we. We will go as soon as berserker gets back!" She chirped as she tried to get him up. "This war may still be a mystery but as you master. I should build your strength. Lets get some training. I can teach you proper circles and summoning techniques for some sweet beasts help me move the furniture." She said curling back her fingers to signal him over.

Ashikaga got up and yelled in surprise. "Do what?! No way, this place is already enough of a mess ya know? Lets just go out to the field like normal! Whats so wrong about that?" Elizabeth sighed. "We have no choice now Ashikaga, you still have much to learn. It is worth the risk of our apartment! Look. We can't go out there, we don't know who is watching us. And if berserker could sense them that means they are close. But could they pin point us here? Come now, who would ever suspect mages, especially those in the grail, to be living in a shit stie like this?"

Ashikaga sighed and looked down at his feet. "Yeah, yeah alright. Fine." He said finally giving in looking like he was about to sweat bullets from curiosity. The more he thought the more it worried him. As they started to clear the room, Elizabeth began to talk.

After berserker had returned. Elizabeth had already been on the floor dying from laughter with another prank she had pulled on Ashikaga. Obviously toward the end of her lesson sense he still seemed to be slightly shocked from it. "Oh dear! Ashikaga you are far too gulible..." She wiped a tear from her eye as Ashikaga stubbornly grunted her off and turned to look at berserker. "Thank god you are back! What did you find that made you take that long? Anything good? Anything at all? Who are saber and archer? What do they even look like. I need the details man." He said trying to distract himself from the embarrassment Elizabeth put him through. Is cheeks flustering bright red.

Elizabeth lifted her arms up to try to explain things to berseker. But then she just collapsed her arms to her sides as she bursted out in laughter once more. In many ways she was a lot more of a child then a conjuration master.Ashikaga looked up at the ceiling as he realized berseker had then switched to the roof. "Hey be careful! You re pretty big you know?! Don't collapse the whole friggin building meat head!" He yelled over Elizabeth constant laughter. "Listen! We are gonna go hunt for the safety zone, the church or whatever. We have a lot of questions for the overseer. You probably know where that person is right?"

Elizabeth started to stoftly giggle as she stood up and re adjusted herself. "Berserker, you can stay her and continue to guard the place while we are out. All we are doing is having a friendly chat with the overseer. Nobody knows who we are yet so just try to keep a low profile while we are gone. Collect info if you can."
And Ashikaga added as he changed into some more comfortable clothes. And started to head out the door with Elizabeth. "Don't try to break anything, and don't go out of your way to make yourself more noticeable then you are already. I don't want you dying on me now. Just be careful. He said as they started to wander off.

Making it to the church after a long while of walking, the two finally approached the church. Ashikaga was about to calmly stroll into the church, sliding one of his hands into his pockets. Before Elizabeth pulled Ashikaga back as he let out a small gasp of surprise, before Elizabeth put her hand over his mouth and hushed him. "What do you think you are doing? We are atheists....Atheists just can't walk up into a church to talk to a preacher and be like. 'Oh hey we are atheists, let us in." It is all about first impressions Ashikaga. A important lesson for mages. Christians and atheists don't mix together. Its like trying to get a fat kid addicted to chocolate, right onto a fucking vegetable. That shit won't work."

Ashikaga raised a confused eyebrow at her comments. "Shouldn't the masters be the ones with the most intelligence." Elizabeth sighed and shook her head. Slapping him. "Your master is always right, remember that. We need to act christian." Ashikaga gave another eyebrow raise and shrugged her off. "We don't have time for this." He said as he pushed the door to the church open, and broke free from Elizabeth grasp. And walked straight in looking around. Scratching the back of his head awkwardly. "Um excuse me, is there an overseer around here? Elizabeth came straight in behind Ashikaga and jumped on his back grabbing in as he gasped loudly from her impact. "Don't listen to him, he is crazy! Mad I tell you. We are devote christian followers. Praise Jesus.!" She started holding out a paper cross as Ashikaga sighed. It was already over. Was a thought that went on in his head.

Ashikaga turned and noticed Berserkers position. As he was wheezing from trying to hold up Elizabeth on his back. Turning up to look at the overseer, with little time to react. "Shit, We don't have time for this." Elizabeth waved to the overseer as she continued. As he did so, when he came up behind berserker, Elizabeth's weight made made Ashikaga fall, down on his face, as she herself screamed from the surprise. However she landed safely on his back. Ashikaga groaned shortly as he soly brought his head up from the dirt and got up. Not really noticing Elizabeth as she let her get back up her self. Awkwardly laughing as he scratched the back of his head and waved to the people around him. "Hey guys, Berserker has told me alot about you guys. I am glad to finally meet you. Servant: Archer

Roof of Central Building. Night.

Archer and Shirou remained for a while on the roof, both of them observing the city around. The two of them don't talk, partly because of cold, partly because of tension Archer is emitting. After a while, Shirou gives up and takes out thermos-bottle with coffee in it - who knows when did he prepare it.

Wait is soon over, as Archer suddenly speaks up: "Oi" and points at the bridge. Shirou follows where Archer is pointing... and notice Saber together with a young man in a lab coat
"Sab-!", Shirou almost screams, but stops when Archer hits him on the head: "Quiet, idiot. You want to attract every Servant here?"
"Shut up, you idiot", Shirou mutters, unable to deny Archer's words. He then looks at Saber and says: "It seems they're going somewhere..."

The two men fall into silence as they follow Saber and her Master travel into suburbs. Eventually, Shirou mutters: "I can't see them anymore... can you?" and turns his head to look at Archer.
"Yeah, I can", the red knight responds.
"Good. Keep me informed", Shirou says, unintentionally making it sound more like an order than he would probably do.

Minutes pass in tense silence. Silence which, eventually, is broken by Archer: "They've met someone... one looks like a priest, and other is a hooded person in dark green and purple robes who I can't identity."
Of course, Shirou immediately recognized who Archer is talking about as he speaks up in hatred: "Kotomine... and that robe can only mean Caster...? What are..."
"Wait. Another figure joined them. Judging by the looks and the weapon he's carrying, he can only be Berserker", Archer says and quickly describes him.
"It can't be...", Shirou gasps. Saber, Caster and Berserker, all three in one place, and all three from 5th Holy Grail War... 'This won't end good', Shirou thinks and runs towards the staircase.

"Where are you going", Archer asks with warning tone, realizing Shirou's intention.
"Isn't that obvious? Saber can't fight off two of them. You remain here and watch, that meeting is sure to attract other Servants", Shirou says last line before disappearing.

*Shirou heads towards the suburbs. Travel time: 30 minutes.*

Archer sighs in annoyance and mutters: "Maybe I judged him wrongly..." as his hawk-like gaze returns to the trio that is meeting in the suburbs.
