So…. there are such things as miracles?

::weeps uncontrollably::

Lets hope the series doesn't end short on some unremarkable cliffhanger because as we all know Arslan is one long-running epic. Now it is based on the new manga which is not that far along, so I wonder how they plan on handling arcs, and how many cours etc…

But still , friggin Arslan is being animated again, praise be to the gods.

This big news in Japan spread in Japanese old fan boys.
Tanaka Yoshiki, who wrote bestseller book "Galatic hero Legend" in 1980's is a
legendary writer in Japanese nobel book.
He introduced the concept of strategy-mind into Japanese SF nobels.
Arslan senki shocked a lot of young creaters 20 years ago.
For examle, Gen Urobuchi,Nasu kinoko,etc.

Please continue to forcus this news

yes this is important news. Arslan is one of the greatest properties you can get in Japan, it has the potential to go neck-in-neck with Legend of Galactic Heroes. However since this production is an adaptation of Arakawas manga, I am expecting something more cinematic and less dialogue-centric out as that.

Hm, another anime of recently started manga... But isn't it contain TOO small plot material for TV anime (even 12-episode)?

Or they will draw original novels in Arakawa style..?
