| I've always relied on Kissanime tbh, even though they have had a fucked up system in the past year with more ads than before However they have good subs and they have a quality of 720p (Wish it was still in 1080p) |

| In terms of actual video quality, CR and other legal streaming sites are objectively better, since illegal sites primarily take videos ripped 1:1 from legal sites, and re-encode them at lower quality to hardcode the (same officially-translated) subtitles and maybe add watermarks and such. In terms of selection, yeah, illegal sites are going to have more, but that's a case of "only better because they cheat" -- they don't have to pay for licensing fees, or for the subtitles and dubs they use, because they steal them from the legal sites. It's like calling a fat guy on a motorcycle a better athlete than competitive cyclists in the Tour de France, just because his vehicle allows him to get from Point A to Point B faster. |
