| Despite Satan's evil/manic laugh at the end, humans were once again proven much more evil than demons - even Satan himself. Evil, insufferably self-righteous and nauseatingly sanctimonious. Yukio is certainly far weaker -mentally and emotionally- than Rin, despite being intellectually stronger. The mother of the twins was perhaps the kindest person we've seen so far; too kind and open-minded for the murderous Vatican bigots (who are apparently above the law in this universe...) to tolerate. So Satan burned the priests trying to save her, not out of spite. The true cause of the "Blue Night" was their bigotry and trying to burn mama Lucifer alive like it's still the 16th century in Salem, not Satan... |

| This was sort of weird. Everything had such a huge shift last episode, and now it's kinda weird. Yuri seems like a nice person. Ernst sucks, and Shiro is sorta grey. Yuri also came off as a bit creepy herself though being mesmerized by demons. But she still seemed to be in the right. I felt so bad for the little ones in the forest. The show sweeps away the humans killing demons over the last few episodes as like "whoops, my mistake" even though it also wants us to realize that the demons aren't inherently bad. And that is very weird. |
