Hola!

So I'm going to go off on my own random subject right now... Just ignore me if you wish, I'm just fucking... going holy shit... and... fuck...

T. S. Eliot's Burnt Norton is blowing my fucking mind. Seriously, first time I've read poetry since... grade school... and it's making me seriously dive into thought. I'm even having thoughts of possibly changing my major.

I so fucking blown away right now and in a good way.

I picked up a soft cover copy from Borders for $9, but here's an internet site with his whole work Four Quartets.

The book really is better though... The spacing between sections isn't quite accurately depicted on that site and it takes away some of the emphasis's that he seemed to wish to put forth.

I actually had the same feeling the other night reading an interview. It was a woman talking about her career as a fashion journalist and the advice she gave for people aspiring to do that was actually amazing. I've even photocopied it and stuck it in my notebook for inspiration.

Isn't it amazing when something comes along and makes you sit back and go, "Holy shit...!"

It was an interview in an issue of Vogue. From a few years ago because I borrowed a few of the old ones off a friend for a project. I'll grab my notebook when I get home (since i'm house-sitting atm) and find some of the fabulous quotes about what she said about writing in general.

It literally enforced the fact that I was heading down the right path, I swear.
