| Kyuuketsuhime Miyu (TV) I thought it was cheesy at first, since the art style was a bit old-fashioned and the OSTs which were playing during the fights and it being episodic, but some episodes really did shine. I liked Miyu, too. |

| Attack on Titan. My thoughts? My new favourite show. It has so many more layers to the plot than I originally thought. Lots of interesting themes about war and humanity being brought to question. A major criticism to the show is how unoriginal the characters are. This is true - we've seen these characters before, but simple =/= shallow (I'm quoting JesuOtaku). They're, for the most part, very well written and memorable. Case in point, I loved it. This is what a battle anime should be like. |
