I can duplicate it. Also sounds like the person who posted just above me has it again too. Do you mean recently? |

Do you mean recently? I don't think you can duplicate it anymore, assuming you've had the issue and I've 'fixed' your account recently. Older 'fixing' didn't actually fix it, just temporarily helped. |

| I really don't want to post about the same bug so many times, but again... It seems that I have 4 messages in my inbox, even though there are actually 5. It appears that the duplicate is a mass message. I haven't been paying attention, but does anybody else notice that the duplicates tend to always be mass messages? Could the glitch be tied to the mass message feature? If it is, this should narrow down whether to fix the glitch and how it occurred.. I now have 65535 messages. WOW!!! Edit: It's fixed now. That was quick.. You guys really are hard-workers! :) |

| Now the same bug appeared on my account too. I'll try to give to you the more information I can, hoping this will be helpful somehow. Well, first of all, this morning, when I first connected to MAL today, I had 3 new messages. One was from an user (it is still visible in the screen I posted, even if I deleted the name of the sender and the subject) and the other two were mass messages from the same club. Moreover, when I opened them, they seemed to be void, and another thing I found quite strange about them is that they had nothing as subject (I wonder if this is somehow connected to this bug or if it's just a different issue...). I replyed to the user's message and deleted the two void club messages. This evening I camed on MAL again and see I had another 3 messages in my inbox: one mass message from another club and two answers from two different users. I first read the oldest of them (from an user) and started replying. One thing I noticed is that when I was writing the answer the number of unread messages, which should have been 2 now, had disappeared, as if I had already read all the new messages I received. After sending the answer I read the mass message from the club and when I clicked on "my messages" again to read the last one I suddenly had the "65534" next to it. I was able to read the last message I received anyway, and I tryed to click on "reply" to see what it would become then, and it just opened the reply window as always (I didn't wrote the answer though, I was just trying because some time ago I read here that when you have this 65534 thing you become unable to reply to messages). I didn't write anything and went back to my messages again, and I saw that in the meantime I had an answer form the user I wrote to when the bug appeard, so I guess when you have it you're still able to receive messages and read them (because I did). Here I'll put a modified screenshot of how my inbox looks like now: I didn't understand if I have to delete all my messages to fix this, but is it actually necessary? Because I really don't want to, it would be something so very annoying to me! >_< EDIT: ok, I see I don't have to. XD Thanks a lot for fixing my problem Xinil, that was amazingly fast. ^^ |
