So this explains why the number can be higher than Oricon sales number. Since we all know Oricon could underestimate the true sales figure, the first printing number, while not really the exact sales figure, could provide some idea as to which manga may in fact be a member of the 1M club, particularly since most of those popular manga are already under subsequent printing. For the titles, the exact volumes in the list are Silver Spoon v6, Vagabond v34 and Shingeki no Kyojin v7 Anyway, my bad for not looking at it as closely as I should have and so I took the numbers as number sold when it is not the case. |
| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
