| Name: xxAwesomeLucyxx Card: #1 Reason: I like that even though the idea for the plot (exorcists and demons) isn't very original, it is done in a very original way. Rin is awesome because he has those typical shounen hero elements but those random bits of his personality like his love for cooking sets him apart. It is a mainstream anime with an atypical feel to it. Oh, and both Rin and Yukio are HAWT! -Done- |

| Name: AcidRainForever Card(s): 2 Why you like Ao no Exorcist/Rin Okumura: Even before I watched it, I had the feeling that I would enjoy Ao no Exorcist immensely. Demons are one of my top three favorite supernatural races. The plot sounded interesting, too, when I read that it was about Satan's son turning against him and becoming an exorcist. Of course, actually watching it confirmed my expectations and perhaps even exceeded it. The intensity of the mood, the comedy, and the seriousness were all imbedded in the right places. The feelings of the characters emanated from them naturally, and a lot of the characters are easily loveable and/or admirable. As for the lead protagonist himself, I enjoy his fluctuating personality. He's seen to be childish at times and serious in other times. There are a few splashes of empathy in him as well. I especially like his ability to cook professionally and the cuteness that he often displays without realizing. Basically, he's my type of guy, and I really do love men who can cook (and airheads). <3 |
