Hi everyone! I'll reintroduce myself just because I have not posted in quite awhile.

I am Kyle or Smitty or Corsair any of those I give no fucks which you pick. I am from Devils Lake North Dakota, but I currently like in Fargo North Dakota. I was born in Roswell New Mexico of all places, as most of my father's side is from New Mexico while my mother's is North Dakota. Well anyway I am 25 in March and got into anime when I was about 16. I always like it even when I was a kid but I didn't know that most of the shows I enjoyed as a kid were from Japan and had their own section of awesome shows that never made it to America. I as most people into anime at about out age I got started on fansubs with Naruto Bleach and the like. Toonami was the bee's knees. I have loved anime for quite awhile and don't see myself stopping soon.

I'm an Avid gamer, i play EvE online alot and other games aswell but mostly EvE. Besides my passion for gaming i watch alot of anime, i tend to finish a <20 episode series in one day if i have the time, usually accompanied with a bucket of ice ^^ (but it's a bit cold now for that).

Hi
Alex desu!
probably I don't need to say it but well, I love manga & anime ;D
I started watching "some time" ago and don't know when and how I became so addicted that there is no turning back for me.
My first anime...? Well I'm not sure as to say cause I wasn't aware as a kid that the thing I watched was actually anime... It must have been something like dragon or sailor or tsubasa - either way it doesn't matter for all I care - I just really loved it!
I signed up cause - well I'm over 20 so as this club is +20 then ok for me.
So that's it, Yoroshiku ;)

Hey, everybody. I was looking to add some clubs and figured this one would fit the bill since I just turned 30. I'm from Minnesota and I work as a department manager at a grocery store, though I'm about to go back to college and go for Certified Nursing Assistant since I need a career change and better income. My hobbies include anime and manga (obviously), DVD/BD/CD collecting, and going to movies. I also enjoy bowling but I don't get to do it as often as I'd like.

As far as music goes, I listen to mostly rock, metal, techno, and a soundtracks. My favorite bands are Kamelot, Within Temptation, Nightwish, Apocalyptica, Judas Priest, Queensryche, Stabbing Westward, Rise Against, Breaking Benjamin, and Evanescence.

Hey all. I'm Stephanie, I'm twenty-five years old and live in Texas. I have a degree in speech pathology but instead of using it, I'm working as a nail salon receptionist. Heh. I've been working at that nail salon for about six years and lets just say that change can be a hard thing. On the plus side, I've picked up a few Vietnamese words and on the slow days I have time to watch anime and read manga. Hehe.

I dabble in the world of writing every now and then. I enjoy reading, watching T.V./movies- basically anything that allows me to escape reality for a bit.

Not really sure what else to say so feel free to ask me anything else if that tickles your fancy. Heh.

Hi I just joined a few months ago, and the hard part was remembering all the anime names I watched before this wonderful site. My name is Josh, I'm 25 and currently live in North Carolina.

I love music and was a tenor in college. I also love complex, intertwined harmonies which ranges from classical to dubstep.
When I was a kid, Sailor Moon, and Pokemon were all I knew of anime.
I'm into photography and reading (listening the majority of the time) and my favorite books are The Hitchhikers Guide Series, The Foundation Series (past the Trilogy), The Sirens of Titan and Harry Potter. I know way too much HP trivia.

I can sell anything to anyone (a little cocky I know) and I love knowing everything.
My user name BFG, means either Big Friendly Giant (Roald Dahl) or Big F**king Guy both mean I am 6'7". And NO I do not play basketball! The reason for my height might be radioactive milk or eating all my vegetables (to kids).

Anywho that's my intro, it has been fun!
Nice to meet everyone!

Hi, I'm Dios :D I'm in my earlyish 20s @_@ I joined pretty recently here at MAL, and like the above poster, I'm trying to remember all the anime I've seen. I know it's way more than what I have listed, but I don't want to put down and rate ancient series that I remember nothing about like... Chobits or Cardcaptor Sakura haha.

My hobbies are running, eating (to gain back all the weight I lost running), and gaming! I'm a Speech Pathology graduate student and I hope to work in a hospital with adult TBI and CVA patients. I don't hate kids or anything they just hate me ^_~

No way! Being a Playstation buff, Crash Bandicoot pretty much defined my childhood, along with racing series like Need for Speed and Gran Turismo. It's a shame that the franchise went to waste as time went on. Still, I'll never forget racking up those damn crystals and gems, gunning for gold/platinum relics, and even double-jumping Nitro boxes (and getting away with it)... Unfortunately, that also came with a price of many frustrating deaths and restarts.

It's my favorite character, Emanon from Memories of Emanon.
If you mean my forum avatar, then no, but it's the same character.
@Style: Crash will always be my favorite game, I didn't even get too angry when I died, I used to have a lot of fun figuring the many deaths of Crash xD
The newer games on teh franchise, though, disappoint me a lot.

I actually only noticed how stupid that was when I was playing Shadow The Hedgehog and was killing everything on my path, then stepped on one of the alien's tails and died.
I mean, I STEPPED on it, at least it should be the alien that died not me. :I

Hey guys, I'm Rena. I've been an otaku for nearly my whole life, and joined MAL almost 5 years ago. I've never posted much on the forums, so I thought I'd look for a club with active discussion. This one seemed fitting. :) Other than watching anime, my hobbies include drawing, painting, reading comics and gaming.

Anyway, jumping into the Crash Bandicoot discussion.. Those games were a huge part of my childhood, too. It took me so many years to play the first one to 100%, haha. It's hard! 2 and 3 were so much easier.

Welcome! I gotta wonder who legitimately completed Crash 1, 2, and 3 without referring to online sources or such about where the secret areas were and how to access them. All of that stuff was so full of crap lol

And yeah. 1 is extremely hard. I don't think I actually completed that one 100%... at least without cheating or looking up information. All of the 1-player releases (including Wrath of Cortex) were quite unique in their own ways and commanded some serious replay value. I think I stopped following Crash after Twinsanity though, which was kind of mediocre, but not as bad compared to the more recent games.

Not to mention Crash Team Racing and Crash Bash were good fun too.

Well, maybe you would have a chance in those cart battles, but not the actual racing itself. Can't compete with someone who's been speed-hunting since the late 90s man...

I did, but it probably cost me most of my youth, haha.. :P Wrath of Cortex is fun (annoying bosses though), but it's the last of the good ones IMO.

Yeah, Crash Bash was epic. It also took so much pain and suffering to complete, at least with 2 players. I especially love CTR, though. Important psychological question: which characters did you normally use?

Crash, being the star and all, was my undisputed favorite. I think I selected him for like every race I could. If anything, I played characters like N. Gin, Polar, or Dingodile for the sound of their karts or to hear their many phrases and such.

Yeah. Totally agree with Wrath of Cortex. Who cares if it was basically the same one-player game for like the 4th time? They could've had 10 releases of the one-player games and I still wouldn't be bored.

Spyro was pretty damn good too.

Hello, i am Stéphane (please do not mistake my name for a girls name. sadly it happens far too many times). i am Italian and French and i live in the Netherlands. currently I am 21 years old.

I used my Mal account to store all my anime that i have watched, but now i wanted to see how the forums/clubs are. So here i am

i am a student at the TU Delft. i am studying chemical engineering and chemistry. It's a combination study.

currently I am doing these sports: Shinkendo (Japanese swordsmanship) and Aikido. and i can tell you that in some fighting animes the fight self is completely fake. And yes my love for Japanese martial arts did in fact come from watching anime.
