| hi there kieshara and vhess vhess a very good friend of mine has lots of family in norway, he tells me its a nice place to live, but he also tells me the taxes are ridiculously high because of all the social programs and stuff clannad was awesome, specifically afterstory for me though. short movies eh, that sounds pretty fun. my roommate actually loves making videos as well, do you have a youtube channel or something? |

| Hey bbmello! Oh yeah, Norway is a very good country to live in, but the taxes are ridiculously high as you said! But we're blessed by many things tho, so it is totally worth it. I agree with you, Clannad after story was better! My movies are currently only in norwegian tho, so it wouldn't be any fun for you, haha. And I'm going to a filmschool after the summer! Will learn alot more, and produce much better stuff of course. The more the merrier! I really like this community :) |

| Yoroshiku minna! I am 21 from the UK. I rather watch anime than to read manga. I like to watch dubbed whenever possible if the quality is good! I prefer legal stream sites such as Anime-on-Demand.com, Crunchyroll and FUNimation even if lower quality. When picking anime, I am open to most genre except Homo, horror, depressing, and "Work of art". Top picks: Genre I look for would be Shounen, with good gore and humour. E.g. The Legend of the Legendary Heroes and One Piece. Character I look for would be a female lead around 18 to 30 years old with a strong personality, hard to get, witty, and good looking. E.g. Ferris Eris, Holo, Hitagi Senjougahara and Boa Hancock. Hope I can make many friends here! I enjoy talking so I will be visiting your profiles! Thanks :) |

| welcome boa!! i thought your name was after the snake princess but wasnt really sure xD anyways i love shounens as well. and gore too! but sadly most shonens have little to none when it comes to gore. well since it seems you have a somewhat similar taste as me the best thing i can recommend to you would be my personal favorite anime (besides the default favorites like one piece, dbz, etc.) DEADMAN WONDERLAND i love this anime so much, its a shounen that has alot of gore, i love it! >:D |

| Hello everyone. I'm a 22 year old dude from the United States. I am a recent college graduate, with a BA in history, but I still have another five years of school to trudge through (two for grad school starting this fall and then another five for law school right after). I am a devoted acolyte of Studio Ghibli. Through my fairly recent discovery of their works, I became an anime enthusiast. I haven't seen much but I'm eager to earn my stripes. I already know I am heavily predisposed to science fiction and fantasy, something that carries over from my interests in television, film, and literature. I don't read manga but I'd love to start whenever I have the time to figure out where to begin. The sheer volume of manga and anime to sort through is both a curse and blessing I feel, especially for those just getting their feet wet; it's dizzying, just to get properly oriented. Other miscellaneous factoids: I'm a collector of cels, artwork, and figurines. I play the piano. Goethe, Kafka, Kenzaburo Oe, and Asimov are some of my most personally influential writers. I also read plenty of non-fiction which kind of comes with the territory of being a history major. I play many video games, especially of the strategy variety. I'm kind of a foody but I suck at cooking, no matter how hard I try. It'd be nice to make a few friends, especially from this club. I know not many years separate us from our younger peers but our stage in life holds anxieties, responsibilities, and experiences so unique that I think we may as well be oceans apart at times. Anyways, I'm very eager to be a participant here in the near and distant future! |
