| the idea is to have the more well known title as the main title. most of the time, the official english titles aren't like that. also, a lot of official english titles are made by US companies, does not qualify for the rest of the world. with that said, the only one i have thought that should be changed is Stranger. |

| Thanks for informing me. I can understand that. A question would then be how would you be able to determine which title is the most well known. For example I had never heard of Jigoku Shoujo but I had heard the name Hell Girl and that was how it was listed when I just saw the first episode on IFC. Since this is an English language website I thought as soon as the proper english name is determined that it would be the one to be used. Also with Eve no Jikan it is translated as Time of Eve by Crunchyroll which would be the only way to legally watch the show outside of Japan so that would seem to be the more well known title. I've read articles on ANN with Time of Eve being the title used so I assumed that would be the official one. For example how Bonen no Xamdou was changed to Xam'd: Lost Memories after it was translated and released on the Playstation 3. |

| I believe this goes here? MD Geist is labeled as a Movie on MAL, but on other sites such as AniDB, ANN and AnimeNFO it is considered an OVA. Same could be said about MD Giest II - Death Force. Sources cited here, here and here. Also you might consider adding some alternate titles for those too? | I'm getting sick and tired of the irresponsibility when it comes to ratings and how they're being handled, or should I say ignored. Futari Ecchi is NOT a Hentai title. Whoever keeps looking shit up at ANN thinking they've got it all, and know it all and never make mistakes, guess what.. when it comes to borederline mature titles, ANN gets it wrong at the very least 33% of the time, making that source extremely invalid when it comes to adult title ratings. Sources: AniDB, Rightstuf, Rightstuf 1, Rightstuf 2, Rightstuf 3, Rareflix 1, Rareflix 2 Rareflix is apparently the site of choice when purchasing this title from Media Blasters which if you navigate their site and find their title, you should come across this page, and this page. And if anyone is familiar with boxtorrents, you can take a look over there, lord knows they're smart enough not to mark a non-hentai title as hentai. Let's break all this down and reflect on what just happened. Ok, just clicked AniDB link without being logged in and what do you know, ended up on the page anyways and didn't get the message "This anime is marked as hentai (Adult Content). If you are old enough to legally access adult content in your country you can disable this warning in your profile settings. Note: You need to be logged in to change your profile settings. If you haven't signed up yet you need to do that now in order to continue." What does this tell me? It's not considered hentai by AniDB (might want to add "Step Up Love Story" as an alternate title for Futari Ecchi, BTW; thx). I click on the Rightstuf links and I see the titles being considered 17+. I click on the Rareflix links and I see the titles being considered 16+. And the Rareflix links are the site of choice for that title via Media Blasters might I add, which virtually trumps any and all arguments on the subject. Good fight. Why am I all worked up over this? This isn't the first time this shit has happened and I'm relatively sure I've been trying to get this one changed a few times over a long period of time now. It bugs the fk out of me. It litterally took me all of maybe 3 minutes to check sources on this title and apparently it takes you all of 20 seconds to check 1 site and be satisfied with your own ignorance. Learn how to check more than one site in order to get some accurate fucking sources before you decide on a rating. I don't want to have to be the one to recommend something to someone, them coming here seeing it on my list as hentai, or on it's anime page as hentai and that person saying "Oh, I'm sure its a good title, but I don't want to watch hentai.." and then I have to explain how MAL hires up a lot of scrubass newbs that don't know how to check the internet properly as anime moderators and they think it's hentai because 1 website has condemned it as such. Fucking retardedass bullshit. Also why the fuck isn't there a system in place on top of this rating submissions bullshit where the person submitting a rating is notified when it is accepted, or ignored with a valid reason for being accepted, or ignored with also some valid sources. That would actually make this process IDK.. productive? |

I suggest that Sleazy Family entry would be rolled back in to just Inbo with 3 episodes and giving inko and Inbo alternative titles "Sleazy Family Part 1" and "Part 2" respectively. Apparently, no one gave a shit about this post even though at least one mod surely has read it (just because post after mine got mod to do his/her job). And this is not the first time i get ignored here. What, so hard to do your work? And if you don' have the power to edit it, at least bump it. And i'm not talking only about my post.
