Man what a weak finale. I thought the first 28ish chapters of this manga were great/amazing and I couldn't wait to see where it would go, but it just ended up dipping hard right after that and never fully recovered imo. The ladder half had it's moments here and there, but a handfull of chapters we're convoluted as hell (Due to tons of dialogue and wacky art), and a lot of chapters dragged on and on with unnecessary dialogue. There wasn't even any sense of mystery left by chapter 35-40 for me.

If you would have asked me 40 chapters ago what I thought of this Manga, I would have said this was on pace to be in my top 5. Unfortunately I read it all. 6/10 for this one.

So I just realized that Dung Beetle has a scar on his face and a couple of chapters ago he told Ushiro about a pilot who wanted to run away and cut Kokopelli's face who in turn inflicted a similar wound to the pilot. So was Dung Beetle the pilot who stabbed Kokopelli?

What a depressing manga. Not a lot of hope for the future left in this world.

Overall, I did enjoy this. I didn't find all of the characters interesting and I do think some of the themes were conveyed in a seriously hamfisted way (i.e Tanaka and Kirie's conversation before his battle). This manga uses its concept to develop it's characters and the Zearth and everything that revolves around it is just a way to do that. I think it did a fine job at that. 7/10.

I would say the ending was overall pretty great. Though it would've been more satisfying to know who made these mecha and for what purpose did they decide to make it. And also the purpose of why these battle type scenarios are taking place. But that's just my opinion. These types of ending usually do leave people with strong impression about the series and i can understand why some might find this ending a 'masterpiece'.

I LOVED the ending. Perfect conclusion to the awesome series. It's a shame it's not a mainstream one:(

I'm glad I watched the anime and then read the Manga. A fantastic series that ended maybe not in a way we expected but still acceptable. Also nice catch about the scar thing. Still everyone can least agree that UNINSTALL was worth watching an episode or two of the anime.

I am definitely glad I watched the anime first and then the manga. The anime's really good but I don't know if I would have enjoyed it as much if I had read the manga first which is way superior especially the second half.

Very mediocre manga, all the plot twists felt like a cheap TV drama, the guvernment acted the worst way possible and you need to use suspension of disbelief a lot to go along with this show, a waste of time and definitely not worth reading, 3/10.

I used to think they didn't die and would show up later or whatever. This work was impressive overall, but could've used better its concepts and characters. Worth a read.

Wait a minute guys....Why nobody is talking about who created this whole situation ? I mean, who created the robots, who made them killing each others? In the anime one of the characters had this vision about the people who are in charge of these battles but they never talk about that even again. Who are the true villians in this plot? Why the kids are figthing? I loved the manga but I thought it would explain things in the ending. And about the teacher, nothing happens with him? What kind of family would allow a guy who raped their daughter walking free like this? Well...life is not fair, it is what it is, but still i would love to the who is behind this whole situation... ( Sorry for my english, i'm from Brazol and still learing your language )

Guy created a new account to ask a dumb question and never logged into it again lol. The answer to your question is something that was very obvious from the start and then they even make it clear by saying it loud at the end that it's just a natural phenomenon for culling earth timelines. One that has been going on since long and will go on.
