Yeah I think so. Manga is still really popular. Apparently there may be a live action film in development?

Theres still things going on with the franchise so hopefully it will come at some point

Will definitely happen but the real question is when and what studio, but I’m content with the masterpiece manga, but the production committee is gonna have to wait till more volumes to release before they can make it

Dude I just recommend you to read the manga. I wanted season 3 to come out as well but there were no signs of it anytime soon so I started reading it

There will definitely be a season 3 but only after the manga finishes the current arc. I've been up to date with manga and the webcomic for a while and the manga will most likely finish the current arc by the start of the next year year.

The manga would have been further along but covid stopped the manga for a couple months last year. and chapters are monthly.

It's just waiting on enough printed manga and a decent cliffhanger to end a 12 episode Season 3 on, that's all. Hopefully by 2022, but may be pushed back to 2023.

Still a couple years away from over, the manga is very, very slow due to intense action taking up most chapters. Then add another year or two to be printed, and another year or two to be animated, so 2023/24 finished online, 2025 printed, and 2026/2027 animated?

I liked the 1st seasons of both Mob Psycho 100 and One Punch Man, but both 2nd seasons of both shows sucked for me and were a disappointment.

Mob Psycho 100's 2nd season made it feel like it was an anthology, not a continuous story that picks up where the 1st season ended, and basically nothing happened and we once again learned about The Power of Friendship™.

One Punch Man's 2nd season also felt like one big nothing where literally nothing happened. Even if there is a 3rd season I might not watch it.

It's a shame that both animes' first seasons were amazing and I loved them, but the 2nd ones feel like they were made by a completely different person who has no idea what to do with them... Or more realistically, the mangaka just got drained and doesn't know what to do with these characters and stories, it seems like he has put a great deal of effort in fleshing them out, but there is little story behind both. And in both cases the characters feel like they are overlapping each other - one is about a loser student who is unlikely to be the best psychic ever and the other is about a bald, egg-faced lose who is unlikely to be the strongest superhero ever. And that's about it, nothing of significance really happens and the premise gets old pretty fast.
