Furudate Haruichi is a manga artist currently employed by Shueisha Inc.
His/her (the author's gender isn't known to the public) manga Haikyuu!! is serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump published by Shueisha and I would really love to send him/her my fan mail.
I know that I have to send it to the company's address Shueisha. But that's all I know!

To Shueisha Inc.
(I know I have to write something here...maybe Weekly Shōnen Jump?)
Furudate Haruichi
Tokyo 101-8050, JAPAN

Could you be so kind to help me? I can't buy Furudate Haruichi manga since in Portugal manga is really rare to find (and the editors don't really care about it anyway) so I can't see the address written on the books that they give for cases like this. He/she is my favourite mangaka! Please help!

Someone asked the same exact question on Yahoo Japan four years ago: http://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q1296284917

So seems like their exact address is Japan, Tokyo, Chiyoda City, Hitotsubashi, 2-5-10.
And it should be addressed to the editorial department of Weekly Shounen Jump.

I also found some web form where you can send fan mail: http://plus.shonenjump.com/apply.html?id=APPLY1
Now, it says "Shounen Jump Plus", not "Shounen Jump", so this might not be the right place to contact the author.

Wow thank you so much! That was really helpful <3
If there's something I can do for you just say it

Glad to help. :) No need to do anything, but feel free to share your experience if you learn something new about this or if you receive a reply or something. That could be interesting to learn about.

Yeah that sounds like a great idea. I'm starting to learn japanese (well at least how to write) and I think I'll be able to send it really soon.
I'll post his/her answer (if I receive one) here in this forum ;)
