Ichigo Aji does look fun though and I love JoJo type animation, so I want to watch this, but I'm worried that it will be filled with references to the original series that I won't get or understand. I was just wondering if it will still be enjoyable if I haven't watched any Hokuto no Ken show. Or is it like Shingeki! Kyojin Chuugakkou, where you can watch it without knowing about the original, but if you know the characters before than it makes the jokes funnier. edit: Is the anime not like the picture on the main page? |

| Watch Hokuto no Ken. Why would you not? IMO it's a masterpiece. And you'll enjoy the parody that much more. I haven't seen the parody but I would imagine it references the actual show. What parody of anything doesn't reference it's origin? In fact, just saying it's a parody of Hokuto no Ken is already referencing it lol. Not trying to be negative or anything but seriously.. watch Hokuto no Ken |
