| I've been looking through a couple of different threads about this anime/game lately, since I really enjoy the story and setting. And it seemed that in quite a few of these threads people really disliked Chizuru. All of them brought up how useless she was and therefore they hated her. But other than the fact that she hasn't fought in the series yet, I haven't seen any reason to dislike her character. She's sweet, hardworking, and caring. I like her as a main character. I just wanted to ask this because I'm curious and a little surprised at all the hate. |

| I agree about her being a damsel in distress. I think that's a very good point omgitselo-I can understand people being annoyed at her for putting others in danger with her presence. I was really wishing that she would have done more during the last episode too. I get annoyance, but not hatred. For me to hate her, she would have to have more negative qualities other than just being useless in a fight. Thanks for the discussion so far. I'll be able to contribute more once I get some sleep. |
| Why yes,for many fangirls,she's annoying,being surrounded by many hot guys or so. (pardon my terrible english).But that's just how a main female chara in mostly reverse harem anime/game,weak,defense-less,kinda useles,but is liked by -almost- every guys. Even so I think she's cute,and got many good sides ^^;;. Let's just hope she'll be more supporting in season 2 |

| Yes she is a good main female character. But, to be honest, I dislike her cuz I'M JEALOUS! lol I just can't accept she was surrounded and cared by all the handsome and cool shinsengumi...haha stupid me I know, but, I will love her more if her personality and her ability at swordmanship is like Rukia Kuchiki from Bleach or any other badass women, so she can protect herself instead of being saved repeatedly by the guy here. She took all the shinsengumi's attention! Uh Oh of course she is the ONLY main female character anyway right?,hohoho ^__^ But the show is still great cuz the handsomeness and coolness of the Shinsengumi~ >< *sorry I'm suck at english >< |
