Same here.

I'm really starting to like this anime :) Haven't read the manga but i hope the ending is Elcea X Katsuragi, that'd be cute.

wow this show just keeps getting better.. looks like the recommendations I've been getting for this anime isn't just for show.. looking forward to the other girls.. too bad the girls always loose their memory after capturing the ghosts, but I guess it's better than having a humongous harem by the end of the series.. though I hope Keima encounters a girl that will still remember what he did, that'll be interesting.. XD

I think 10000 yen is only about $100 in US and there is NO WAY IN HELL that you can survive off of $100 for 4 months in the US...not without heavy government assistance!! Oh my goddess, Mio is DIRT poor!!!
Dude, it was her 'ALLOWANCE'. If low allowance = poor, I'm even poorer than her since I get no allowance at all from my asian parents. >_>
Wasn't it money for food and drink?
If so she won't be able to live 4 months from it as mentioned in on of my previous posts she would be able to get drinks and food for 4 weeks at most.

About your allowance low allowance doesn't have to mean your poor many parent's start with giving there children low allowance to teach them the value of money.
And that's if they give allowance to there child i never received any allowance from my parents either if a wanted money they told me to get a job.
Which not only teaches the value of money but also how the world works, no work no money.

Besides when your still living at your parents you get free stay free food free drinks free healthcare and pretty much everything you use in your parent's house is free. (There are exceptions to this rule tho some parents charge there kids for living with them when they get older)
So you have it pretty good while living at your parent's place.

Things
DEEP. Faulty sarcasm detector is faulty.

I don't care about having no allowance anyway, seriously. Assumption always makes things more complicated. I was just merely saying having 10000 yen allowance a month doesn't necessarily means she cannot survive or Sparta whatever; it's obviously not all money she has in hand. Beside, it IS possible to survive for 4 months; instant Ramen is cheap as hell.

and, it is ridiculous from the start talking about logics in this anime.

I think you should read the chapter again, since Keima was blushing in manga as much as in anime.

Yes, I read it again and he did blush just as much, my mistake. Though there is an extra blush where Mio ask him in the end. Oh well, nevermind.

In my opinion, in the anime he is blushing too much. In the manga he blushes when Mio takes his hands to dance, but that is just because he dislikes to be touched.
In the anime he didn't think that, so it seemed he was happy for the situation, just a bit uneasy. And, as you told, in the manga at the end he didn't blush at all when Mio touched his hands again. In the anime it seemed almost he's fallen for her.

tl;dr: Anime Keima sux, live with it!

It PHAIL the moment they decided to employ a lame VA for him instead of somebody at LeDouche or Imagay's magnitude.

And TY, you just revealed what has been ticking me off since this anime's aring: Teh PHAIL adaptation of 'I can see zee ending' + dramatic pose. His personality also PHAIL: While in the manga, he did blush from times to times; however, he always comes off as someone who's confident and somewhat emotionless instead of being an awkward virgin like what he's currently being portrayed as.

Also, I've been looking forward to a 2nd coming of a character who has 2 tones, like Ryo Saeba from CH: A normal tone & a PIMP tone. Sadly, this anime didn't deliver it, he's just no different when he's pimping and that lame voice just doesn't suit his PIMP behavior IMHO.

On a somewhat brighter side, the only improvement this anime has offered thus far is, like everybody said, Elsee and that's pretty much it. Knowing the manga, I might skip the next 2 ep due to a certain someone...

@BitchMaster: Aww... Ruining the mood. D: You are too good at exaggerating ignorable differences. It is still decent, not a fail. Beside, Fukuyama Jun is overused anyway. I'm too tired of hearing all those fukuyamafukuyamafukuyama whinings everywhere. Shimono isn't bad at all, imo.

Great show is great. If I have to find a single flaw, it would be that a new girl all the time will become sluggish after a while. Hopefully, the formula will change (you mangareaders, just say yes or no and don't spoil me with details! :D)
This show won't have captures every 2 episodes. There will be some chapters/episodes as breaks in between captures to develop the main characters and provide some humor. *Waiting for Capturing God mode* :DDD

A fabulous episode to end the Mio capture arc. The evolving carriage is hilarious. The music at the second part was really good. And Aoi Yuuki is proving herself to be one of the most talented seiyuus around. She was really good here as Mio. Keima is awesome with that yodeling as well as his speech to Mio. It's a good thing that there's no preview because I can't remember the next episodes/chapters that happen in between captures. This will make me more eager to wait for the next episode.

Come on, it just the second capture. Keima just yet to get used to it. He still need to gain some experiences to acquire the skill.
Furthermore, I only see Keima start be fully, calm, confident and cool only from Shiori's arc onward...
Though, it is true that Keima in anime a little bit to awkward... Anime Keima is the best description of Keima in the one-short manga...
I like to see this Keima. With this, we can clearly see how Keima developes from awkward person, to a cool(emotionless?), confident guy...

ringoo4 said:

She is not that yandere... >:(

Okay, she is, a bit, in the early part...

BitchMaster said:

She does not wear the spectacles most of the time, though... Especially in her arc...

Too bad, we can't see the next girl in the next episode, if looking on the next episode title... Her arc is one of my favorite arc...

Okay, for this episode, overall, it not really gives me good impact as the manga gives... They don't show how Elsie look jealous in the anime...
Anyway, the part that I like of the arc, in the party's garden, it is done well. I especially like how Keima and Mio blush after they holding hand (even though it is a little bit differnt than manga). I never thought Keima can be that cute. >//<

This.
In the anime he seems a generic and shy bishonen, and his proud adversion for 3D girls is not emphasized enough.
In the end, in the manga when Elsie told him that Mio was a cute girl after all, and it was such a pity that she had forgotten him, Keima answered with bothered expression "NOT REALLY", while in the anime he seemed almost sorry for the fact he couldn't know Mio better. He seemed too emotionally involved with her, I don't know why they are portraing him softer than how much he is in the manga. I hope they improve his characterization, because at the moment I dislike it. They also skipped the moment where he told "I prefer the games...they have also nice BGM"...it was so cute. ù_ù
I disagree with you only about Hiro Shimono: I think he is doing a good job, but the problem here is the adaptation of the character.

Uh Oh! Manga Nazi Alert! If you take this offensive I'm just kidding. The manga is valid input when discussion the overall directional approach of the adaptation, but without reading the manga All I have to say about this episode is STRESSMAN!!!

Edit: I lied about it being the only thing I have to say, because I'd also like to mention that this episode shows a lot of improvement on the original formulaic approach. If they can find a way to develop Katsurogi's character through his romantic engagements I think the show has a really good chance of becoming my favorite show this fall.

Wow, this show has some extremely well done moments of adorableness! I think the "girl of the week" format feels similar to what Amagami did, but the execution is much much better! And we get to at least keep the character development for Kami-sama instead of hitting the reset button after each girl. I think TWGOK gets to compete with Kuragehime head on for best new show of the Fall season.
