| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- lol the opening is so cheesy. Not that bad of a first episode, although Ryuusei's reaction at the end was quite hilarious. He feels confident while fighting one 'bug', but then when only a few more appear he's absolutely terrified! Well, after just one episode I'm already really interested in this series~ Hopefully it at least turns out to be a fun watch. |

| Super Robot Wars Orginal Generation Divine Wars..... Mouthfull title, eh? It's based on the first Super Robot Wars game made entirely of orginal series, as opposed to series like Gundam and Macross. And I think the first episode...did a helluva good job adapting the first chapter of the game. As well as making it understandable to someone who hasn't played the game. However...the CGI for the mecha....is a little....90s looking Feels more in place with like...Reboot or Beast Wars or something Although I suppose by using 3D the budget for the normal animation went up. | As generic as the plot line and character designs were, I actually really enjoyed it. The CGI is pretty lackluster but the movement was nice and fluid, making for a decent fight scene. The OP/ED are epic 90s jams, especially the OP! I think the best aspect so far are the seiyus. They all fit the characters perfect, and that scream at the end was amazing. Lol! Definitely looking forward to where this goes. |
