| I have the feeling that it will not have any ending of love story for chizuru in this anime. I mean it is not sad ending, but I will think that Chizuru's relationships with all of them (including Kazema Chikage) still maintain as closed. All the handsome guys in this anime probably love Chizuru or have deep, special feeling to Chizuru, I probably think that Chizuru does not make a choice, she is only 16 years old (I think) teenage girl. Personally I wish Chizuru will end with Hijikata for good. But then, Kazema looks cool and handsome too (though he is evil)...., doesn't it romantic and dramatic, if these two guys "surounding" Chizuru? |
| I think it's going to be like most other otome turned anime shows where the girl won't choose anyone in the end while the rest of the men have some sort of feelings for her. But I'm also pretty sure that the show will imply that Chizuru will end up with Hijikata but it will be very subtle that you might not notice it even. >.> Since it'd be "not-so-good" if Chizuru *really* ends up with someone in anime since in the game, Chizuru can end up with any of the guys depending on the player. |

| i agree with vanijane, as they wouldnt want to put other fans off by chizuru "ending up" with anyone them. which i think is probably the best way for it as it is muliple choice lol it'd be nice if they did have a bit of romance in it, but i doubt they will, they like hinting towards it tho.... with all of them lol ^^ |

| I went and hunt for spoilers and found this From reading this Chizuru gets better as the story goes on each route, but since the anime is putting all the routes into one, so Chizuru moment of awesome on one route is replace by another guy's route where she is still useless. |

| Well, Clannad is a dating sim, but it isn't otome. It's bishojou. I also notice aside from Nagisa, Kyou, and Tomoyo. Kotomi and Fuko don't really confess their love until the very end. So they were able to handle their route by making it look like Tomoya was helping a friend. While Nagisa is the main girl and Kyou and Tomoyo had their own ending with Tomoya. Also I pray there will be ova of the guys routes. So that means, they might animate every guys route, and make it an alternate universe. Also we can see a better Chizuru. |
