I'll tell you who's annoying....JIN! Every high level online Jin user is so proud of the "madskills". It hasn't occurred to them that hes the easiest character to use and that most of their "madskills" compromise of spamming.

Recently in a match where I had a 2 win 10 lose ratio against a high level Jin user I decided to use his own character against him....(mind you I had never used Jin before) I suddenly went up to 7 wins....he only won once when I made the change. He rages and I laughed....verdict....Jin sucks.

Recently, I've been using V-13 and working up some decent combos...Some work quite well against Jin (not spam drive).
Jin is really cheap to use and anyone who uses him is thusly a cheap player...

Well, not necessarily. I've seen high level Jin's that weren't just a spamfest of the same moves (most of these players were Japanese, however, don't know if that counts for something).

My opinion, if its a Jin who's game revolves mostly around spamming drives/ice car/ice swords, then it isn't a high level Jin.

I am well aware that some Jin players are good. I have played against such. Ive been playing online for about half a month now and have come to the conclusion that these are a minority. When I say high level I mean in the games ranking system not so much in skill.

Yeah, thats true. I've played a few Jin's who just spammed D's and C's...and whats worse, it was actually effective, shut down my Hakumen game I've been working so hard on fairly easily...

Yeah, I think so too. You can talk trash to them all you want, they'll just keep doing what their doing so long as they aren't punished for it in some way.

Main: V-13 (C and D are the only the way she combos, and its hard to time the stick to hit aerial attacks; glass cannons easily die lol)

Sub: Litchi, and Carl (probably, once I get use to attacking while moving Nirvana around.)

Yeah, I beat a REALLY good Carl player the other day with Hakumen. Only reason I won is because Hakumen can both take and dish out big damage, otherwise he'd have beaten me for sure...

Ok, so I definitely changed that. Hakumen is now mained, with Noel subbing. Seriously, with his shield, recharging megatama, sword that can cut through supers and projectiles makes him an incredibly fun character to play and grow with.

I don't really care if I'm hated or whatnot. I like Jin so I play him. I don't care what other people say. And it isn't so hard to punish Jin Ice Car spammers. Instead of wasting time hating spammers, the people could train a little.

If it was only IceCar it wouldn't me much of a problem, but I do think there is a little imbalance in Jin's game that encourages D spam (kinda like how Arakune can curse on block, which is just friggin retarded as well), and how difficult it is for some characters to capitalize on punishing Jin's D spam game. As a seasoned Hakumen player I can tell you honestly that its not so easy to punish a freeze spam Jin with Haku, as he has inferior speed and requires the player to be up in Jin's face, where Jin can easily trap you with his ice if you slip up. Even if you take the recommended turtle approach and have Jin come to you, the pacing of the game in general will usually be decided by the Jin player, unless the Hakumen player is significantly more skilled.

I agree that people should complain less and train more, but it is imbalanced in that it requires a much more skilled Hakumen (I'll use Hakumen as my example, since thats the only character I play) to be able to really dominate a game vs. a freeze spam Jin.

I partially agree with you. But you forget that Jin is a beginner-friendly character. The people pick him right off the bat and press D which results in some kind of freeze attacks.

Haku-men however has a bigger learning curve than Jin and isn't suitable for beginners. You have to time your Drive to counter attacks. Of course it's harder to counter than just press a button and attack.

The Ice Car spammers can't get better. They resort to their only strategy if you could call it that, which is: Ice car. They cry, they ragequit and in the end they give up and stop playing BlazBlue.

When you reach a certain point with your character, the Jin spammers can't do shit. And they're also very predictable on top of that. Heck, even I lose to some Jin spammers with my sub Carl. But that's because Carl is so freaking hard to learn how to play.

Yeah, you're right, taking learning curve into account that does make a whole lot of sense. The differences in learning curve creates the illusion of imbalance for the game, but there are still instances of imbalance in the game (I will say again, Arakune's bugs cursing ON BLOCK. Ridiculous).

Litchi is my sub now. I really prefer to use her without the staff. In fact, most of the moves I know of are without the staff. Still have low odds of pulling off her specials- they always elude me in fights, for some reason- but my proficiency with her has improved.

The thing about Jin is that, while he IS easy to learn/spam, if somebody DOES truly become good with him, they can always revert to spamming just to ruin your gameplan.
