| @Tokikoo Oh absolutely, it seems highly influenced by Ghost in the Shell and Appleseed, there's clearly a touch of Mamoru Oshii and Masamune Shirow. |
| edit: I thought he was looking for anime-influenced songs as per the title, he's looking for anime-influenced music videos lol. Well for the former: I think this counts, I listen to it frequently Dunno if this was anime before game but I really like the start and end of this, rest is a lil corny in a good way Maybe Tanuki remixes count, especially with their anime videos |

| Oh hell yeah! Sound and Fury mentioned! Amusingly enough, the segments with the onna-bugeisha and assassins were animated by the same studio as JJBA Part 3's openings and Batman Ninja, iirc, so we could say these ARE anime (Anilist certainly counts it as one). I really liked that anthology. Not technically just a song, but I recognize Daria Zawiałow purely because there was an album of hers that had an anime-style cover (at least I think it was an album? I have vague memories of this picture being used in a local opinion magazine I read and thinking "haha, some random local musician has an anime-style cover, neat")  |

| Ok not rly a song, but the whole band "the birthday massacre" seems to be pretty anime inspired I mean just look at this excerpt from the lead singer's wiki page: Sara "Chibi" Taylor is the lead singer of the synth-rock band, The Birthday Massacre. She took the pseudonym Chibi from the anime series Sailor Moon. Originally she named her cat Chibi before deciding to give herself the nickname when forming the band Imagica, which was later renamed The Birthday Massacre. |

| The music video to Mylène Farmer's Peut-être toi The album The Inalienable Dreamless by grindcore band Discordance Axis was influenced by Evangelion. Grindcore is basically noise though so I don't really like it. |
