| I don't see any reason to spend money on consoles at this point. And don't care for any AAA games and console gaming in general (after the mid-late 2000s). Also not a fan of supporting big corps, especially those businesses that are heavily oriented only to profit and not for producing life-lasting quality products. |
| Probably Nintendo. Despite all the negative stuff that's happening with them this year, the switch 2 still sold out. Microsoft just went to shit this week with its gamepass nonsense going up 50% and the previous multiple price ups to its consoles/accessories trying to follow Nintendo after their price ups. Sony also increased its console prices but nothing more than just that for now. |

| Not entirely sure as I'm not really keeping up with them, but I'd say Nintendo with their first Switch is still dominating. I only own an original Switch oled and a PS5 slim disc version and I've barely played either of them since getting them as presents for myself 2 years and a year ago respectively lol. Got the Switch mainly for 1 game that was easier to get a hold of on the Switch, PS5 mainly to keep playing PS4 games, as discs were constantly getting stuck in my PS4 and I had to manually eject them. I watch YouTube a lot on my Switch and use my PS5 to watch 4K Blu-rays on, so it's not like entirely a waste for me, but I don't think I'm going to buy any of the next generation of consoles. I think I've moved on from gaming for the most part. @Shishio-kun thanks! ^•^ |

| Consoles wars were always some dumb dick measuring bullshit anyways. The only reason I was Sony is because they happened to have a stranglehold on the games I was actually interested in. Brand loyalty meant shit to me. The whole PC master race thing is also really stupid to me, whether it's meant to be taken seriously or not. People can't just let others enjoy whatever the fuck they want. If I were to pick a winner, it'd be Nintendo. I see so many people get pissed at things they do, any yet they'll never be in any actual trouble. And they're the only ones who won't let others play with their toys these days. People have zero choice but to go through them for their Italian plumber, their silent elf boy and their pink blob that's good at sucking. As for What I have; I have a PS5, an Xbox Series X , and a Switch 1 that I refuse to replace with a Switch 2 until I have an actual reason to. New Donkey Kong isn't my thing, I can play Mario Kart World at my friends, and I'm not convinced the Switch 2 version of the new Pokemon is worth it yet. |

@Retro8bit GTA6 has to save Sony.. it will, right?  Otherwise with the high prices, stale AAA, and the long game I can't think of many people choosing a PS6 or PS5 over a Switch 2 or PC/phone in the future. Definitely how it is for me. Just put AAA on Switch 2 and end it, Nintendo xD I wonder if in the future, AI will be able to somehow upscale Switch 2 graphics on your screen up to higher quality, further negating the need for a PC or console. Like an AI accessory or something. The ultimate evolution of what started with NES add ons lmao. Maybe even adding other features. And actually good upscales, unlike the "upscale" we saw in the FF Tactics remake. |
