Dont you think the villains powers are too over powered. To the point if gio and crew had most of there stands they would be unstoppable. Gios not include cos its a crazy op stand. The bosses power is so mad that only jotaro is a threat. Give me your views not silly cool guy comments please

the villains being over-powered is a big part of the challenge for the joestars in each season. each villain stand user has time related powers, so they have to get creative to beat them. i think it’s an interesting concept honestly. i like looking at a villain and having absolutely no idea how the main characters will beat him, then watching them figure it out. parts 4 and 5 did that best for me.

It’s been a long time (like 4 years) since I finished Golden Wind but I remember some stands were very OP. Though the same can be said for a bunch of other stands in different parts as well, like Killed Queen from Diamond is Unbreakable. Or Made in Heaven from Stone Ocean.

I’ve already talked about this before as well but in response to the title of this topic, I feel like Golden Wind is overhyped when it comes to JoJo parts. Yes, it’s good, but there are other parts that are just way better. Golden Wind isn’t that high up imo.

if most of the villains, joestars and joebros are overpowered then no one is truly overpowered since it kind of cancels eachother out

feel the same on it being overhyped but its in my top 3 so cant be mad at it. think its cos it felt really fresh and different with the Italian vibe. the rnb in the credits was legendary.

oh I understand how the strong villains thing works but the sides guys in the crew was talking out guys every shouldn't in episodes. the crusade season the weaker guys didnt get thro battles without help. even in my fav season diamonds are forever, main guy did all the lifting cos he had the op power. the boss should of been way harder to due with in my eyes. but I loved this season and style gave it a 8. so not hating. your not meant to take jojo so seriously I guess I need to be better

I think that an authors choice to make characters seem overpowered or unbeatable, is a creative method for intriguing the viewer while provoking thrill and excitement. For me at least, Jojo's is an amazing example of this from a viewers perspective. I was looking forward to the eventual battle between Giorno and the so called "boss" that was constantly being mentioned as such a force to be reckoned with. Part 5 is my favorite part, I had no hype for it and went in completely blind. That said, my opinion on it may be because of those factors. Overall, it makes sense to me why part 5 is the highest rated, it has action, twists, well done characters and stands, and an amazing, if not the best finale of a jojo part in my humble opinion.

Yeah, on that part with the Italian vibe I understand. Though from what I remember, some of Battle Tendency was set in Italy as well. I think another big part is that we're getting more on DIO and Jonathan than we have since Stardust Crusaders.

This opinion is probably gonna rile some people up, but...Freak'N You isn't bad per se, but it's not one I'd normally listen to. I liked Modern Crusaders by Enigma more. I really liked Fighting Gold, but not Traitor's Requiem.

yeah my point dont make the villians so op when the others are very mid. I mean moody blue and pliot kid. wouldn't last a minute as villains. if you replace 1 or them with the nails guy, shark water or shrink dude. they would do numbers. I mean fugu didnt do a damn thing with his op power. Just felt like playing field was way too underdog vibe with the same outcome anyway. in others going was put out of commission after fields. didnt my guy get shoot in head 5 times. shoot another dozen. I know gio did he recovery thing but still

thats the point of freak n you.think that was genuis.I also liked he had genuinely gay characters in this one felt like he was reading the comments always called over top with the poses and gay. he had some crazier poses too. not controversial your opinion on soundtrack is on point minus the end credit soon.

jujutsu kaisen had a random song at end that doesn't fit at all and it made it one of them things make forums go crazy.

Eh, not really. Afaik, the only actually LGBTQ characters in the JoJo franchise are DIO, Scarlet Valentine, and Dragona Joestar. The style of the characters is dependent on the beauty/fashion standards of the time Araki sensei is writing the part.

For example, Phantom Blood's characters are all buff beefcakes because at that time period, that was the beauty standard (given Arnold Schwarzenegger). But overtime, beauty standards changed to more lean bodies and edgy fashion, so that's why Golden Wind's characters look so different compared to Phantom Blood.

wait what you sure? had the 2 gay couples. one in the hitman team where one got chopped up and other die from choking on mouth gag, and the tongue stand and shark fluid stand. if not then I really need to watch again even tho I have seen twice. might be think of a different anime and made it up lol

minus the disagreement on characters love what you wrong about the styles and stuff. that knowledge when you have it makes things feel more special to me. like seeing streets and areas that I know very well in anime that shows me they put in real work. ashame the anime was so poor but still found value in it. was the one where there had a card and number and it gave them powers. was like a service agency. never meant London either but was all London backstreets and places that wasn't well known

I feel like in jojo it’s a very common thing for the main villain of a part to have and simplistic op stand and the main jojo to have a complex op stand. Like in parts 3, 5, and 7 the villain starts off with a stand that seems so powerful it can’t be beat. It’s power is pretty easily explained but you still understand how powerful it is meanwhile the jojo of that part has a relatively simple stand at the beginning but over time their stand develops into something just as op but it takes more explanation to describe how powerful it is. I feel like araki does that on purpose as a plot device to kinda show character development. Haven’t read part 8 but I think he does it there w josuk8 as well

yeah I am lol I had to think, wait did i just make up gay people for a nonsense point. think this season had so much information its understandable why you dont remember every character. kinda point op characters died in a episode or 2 just to fit in more characters. unlike other seasons op characters had 5 8 episodes. or got away then dealt with later.

No, I don't think they are overpowered for all villains. Main villains are a different story, though arguably, they are balanced enough by, say, main character's Stand being more or less equally powerful. However, I thought it in my first years of being a JoJo fan, haha. I got used to it over time. I treat it now as a part of this franchise's unique style.

Yeah but most villains are broken as hell. That’s what makes the fights entertaining for me. Like how Cheap Trick is damn near unbeatable

I think Kars was way more OP compared to anything part 2 had going on

its basically the thing with Jojos: they overcome the hardest battles via their luck and cunning strategies, while managing to stay alive thanks to Joestars secret family technique
