| I always forget that Ch'en is somewhere around. I wish they would just plant some kind of bomb and just explode Mephisto sky high. Having time for that dumbass burn the clock by singing, and then have that after credits. Even more time for that after credits, I feel would been better use. Will 1 episode be enough for that what I believe will be Doctor very important flashback, I suppose? |

| Though I was initially expecting to see just a bit more of Talulah's past in this episode (as arguably there's one big thing we still haven't seen), this was incredible too. A very big part of the arc has been animated, and I could not be happier - the final scene was done so superbly, I loved every single second of it. The Doctor and Kal'tsit's venture to the Sarcophagus and the resulting conversation is easily my favourite part of Chapter 8. And, once again, despite the rushed nature of it, giving us an adaptation of Darknights Memoir back in episode 2 was definitely worth it, as actually knowing who Theresa was makes this scene even better. The curtain over the amnesiac Doctor's mysterious past has been moved enough to grant us a brief peek, but there is plenty more to come. And we have an official voice for Priestess! And what a voice it is, pretty spot-on if you ask me. |

| Mephisto turned into a Lugia and almost got solo'd by Mon3tr while singing Lullaby. I might be misremembering from the game, but I feel like his backstory with his family was made a bit more vague here. Most of Kal'tsit's yapping was cut, especially during the post-credits scene, and honestly that wasn’t a bad thing since it was followed by Doctor remembering Priestess despite having lost all his memories. Kal'tsit's expression to Doctor’s question was spot on, and I’m glad Priestess’s lines weren’t trimmed much. I had to rewatch that whole post-credits scene multiple times because of how chilling it was. |

Oh they did an amazing job with the after credits part, the only complaint is that Priestess eyes are supposed to be a Rhombus. I have been waiting so long for this scene and it begins now.
Edit: the phone screen glitching to rhombus for a split second, and Kal reaction were perfect. Also we finally have a voice for Priestess.

| Wow, what an excellent episode, even goes into exploring the Doctor's past a bit more (finally). I'm really interested to know why he did what he did, and more of what he was like before his memory loss. |

| finally that stupid flashback is over and we finally moving the plot foward. well, that was quite the bomb drop that doctor killed theresa and who is priestess?, I think is maybe for the best that doctor lost his memories, at least for kal'tsit. |

| It's like Kal'tsit can intellectually accept the present him and pre-amnesiac him are functionally two different people, but emotionally, at heart, she is still bitter to the core, and that vitriol and resentment seeps out through her words, and when not direct explicit words, framing and phrasing of what she says, more than occasionally. |

| @Izofdoors Holy, then I suppose we're not gonna learn more about her this season, except if the studio decides to do the same thing with W's backstory which was supposed to happen later in the game. Not that they need to, it already feels rushed with the current pace. |

| the final scene at the sarcophagus was incredibly well done. I like how horrified they made Kal's expression look at the end there, the in game art just shows her looking surprised (which was already a rare sight since she's always expressionless in her art) and this big break from her usual demeanor really drive it home. Also really like how they showed snippets from the past to hint at what Kal was talking about. |
| PRIESTESS JUMPSCARE I LOVE YOU God they made her so justice in that scene, super precious and with her 10/10 voice. That freaking face from Kal'tsit when she was mentioned xD Mephisto went out with a wonderful performance, really happy that they chose him to sing the song, feels... |
