| Just enjoy the anime and don’t over think it. I suggest not putting much thought into the “system”, it will only ruin your experience, especially when you find a flaw, it will keep bugging you, messing up your enjoyment of the anime. As John Lennon said in the Beatles’ song Tomorrow Never Knows, “Turn off your mind, relax, and float down stream”. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |

Or could he actually let himself die and still win? And if so, why didn't he realize it himself? He displated a lot of intelligence through the whole series. Why not remember that it's that kind of quest? If he died he would be dead(Shirou EmiyaTM) and someone else would be chosen as the next player. The Job Change Quest was full of hidden requirements. "Survive as long as possible" was just part of the score calculation, the others weren't revealed beforehand. He's also not a gamer, he has limited knowledge. Also you can't expect someone to go and die on purpose because of some video game logic. The whole theme of Jinwoo is that he tries to survive even in the face of unbeatable odds. You didn't understand the story if you're asking him to just die to finish a quest faster... |
