I absolutely loved this anime and the way it ended has me wondering if there is a season 2 possibly? What do you guys think? I seriously did not expect to enjoy this Isekai as much as I did! I am also hoping this show did well in Japan and merch will be made available!

I honestly don’t think this will get a season 2. The story feels finished and MAPPA has too much on their plate to animate. As much as I liked it too, I don’t expect a sequel

I really don't want a second season, really liked the show but it should stay with this ending. Maybe I can see them making an OVA but it would still be a bold move, the ending right now is the best one I can think of.

@kekotron Id def watch one where like the shows characters experience modern world and then voids attack tokyo lol I could see some cool ideas. It seemed like they were alluding well thats how I interpreted it since they were walking lol maybe a foreshadowing but I see what you mean.

Merch and Blu rays are available, if you want to order, but you'd have to purchase them via proxy probably.

I mean, they could always pull a ZLSR and just pull the director last minute to make a season 2, making her expand on the series with a sort of "Devil is a part time" spinoff, which sounds decently intriguing if it's well produced (unlike most of Devil is a part timer.)

I don't think this one needs a second season. But I do hope it does financially well, so MAPPA can dedicate more time and effort into this kind of project. I love seeing studios producing original stories, and it was the way KyoAni found to pay their workers fairly, so it would be nice for the industry as a whole.

For the anime itself, bro, not in a million years I would have though at the beggining of the season that one of the best of it would be an isekai. Zenshuu comes to prove that you can throw all the cliches in the book and still get an interesting story out of it.

The story was completed so there is no need for a season 2. If they did a season 2 it would probably do a lot of backtracking of the MC’s character development which would be dumb.

I hope they don't make a second season bc the ending was perfect. It is a 12 episode story that wraps itself so nice, just leave as It is. It is as good as It can be.
For the merch, ye some merch would be nice, I would buy a cool hoodie or smth.

To be honest, I think it could be and at the same time it couldn't be. Maybe it is to explain what happened so that we don't have any doubts or to see if Natsuko finds her love, Luke somehow, or someone with the same tastes as her and that looks like him. I don't know!

Definitely not, the story ended, but if we're lucky we may get a sol romcom ova that takes place after the series.

I guess that "OVA" could be a full season, but genre shifting sequels are very rarely a thing. Specially outside of mega hits.

Don't see how they'll pull off the ending from the ending we had. They definitely did not planned for additional content, so I highly doubt.
The only possible option is "strike while it's hot" situation, which jesn they would make a sequel only because it's profitable. Which I highly doubt.
