| This is different from the trolley problem in which a trolley is about to hit 4 people and the only one that can stop it is you pulling a lever which redirects the trolley onto a different track where it will only hit one person. So you essentially make yourself part of the problem, from some perspectives the blood is on your hands, but only one person can die instead of many. Now the bus problem dilemma is different. A bus is driving down an empty road. You stand next to a bystander and have the ability to push him onto the road causing him to get hit by the bus at full speed. Would you do it? If you dont do it, nothing will happen really but if you do it, it might be funny and you will get more attention and maybe followers |

What would likely happen is the driver would try to avoid hitting the person you've pushed which may cause the bus to swerve off the road.
