Don’t worry, it’s not age because I’m in my 20’s. For me the main problem is that it’s unwatchably bad with horrendous writing. Like people kept telling me it’s a parody on the traditional Isekai format… it’s not really parodying anything, it’s just about an OP Isekaid chunnibyo who is so incredibly stupid he doesn’t understand that everything going on around him is real. It’s just very hard for me to invest in a protagonist like Sid.

i watched 1 and 2 seasons. Season 2 also have some interesting parts. No doubt if you like the season one then go for season 2.

well,, may be you don't like this kind of plot,,, but for me it is a guilt pleasure show,,it doesn't matter how many times I watch it ,i like it every time,,, season 1 is just too good and surpassed my expectations of a isekai anime ,,, i love the corny stuff he does with clear mind is just way to funny to me,, and action scenes is just really good,,if you watched half (12ep) ,,i suggest you to don't take this anime seriously,,just try to enjoy,,once you starts to enjoy it you will like it,,, action fights will be good from then on.. except mc everyone is serious in that world,,soo it's not funny either..

i think it's my guilty pleasure show,,,I love it,for me 10/10. (season 1 ) and season 2 maybe 7/10....

Why does it need to get better. You can't improve perfection.

This is suppose to troll cooky cutter Isekai tropes and plots and even then it has story and world building better than 95% of fantasy anime atleast.
Idk how it felt episodic everything was part of an arc except 1-2 filler here and there. And again background characters which are supposed to memed are still brilliant characters all on their own.
Maybe you should stick to the end of auroa arc and then season 1. Last episode is peak of that doesn't impress you then it's not for you. But the plot points of season 1 ends in season 2 so that's that.
Season 2 is same stuff nothing better or worse.

Not everyone can get this sheer masterpiece.

I think because you are an English speaker the play on words aren't hitting you the same, reading a play on words off a screen isn't as funny as actually hearing it. I suggest you stop watching because the entire point of this show is to be an over exaggerated version of an isekai with a protagonist who purposely seeks out the tropes he remembers. if you aren't getting the humour by now you never will

@Leonzanimelist thats helpful thank you. Yesh that type of humor really isnt my thing. I did finish the forst season and the last 3 episodes were pretty good but i dont think ill watch s2.at least not for now

@WeebQira i never want to give up to earky because of how anime is sometimes. It took steins gate 12 episodes to get rolling, gurren lagann became almost an entirely different show at episode 17 theyre are other examples but i always want to give a show a genuine honest try before giving up. Ive watched 100 episodes of 2 different animes that i HATED because the entire anime community said they get good but they ended up just not being my thing. Which is okay

@WaterMage the last episode was good but not good enough for me to watch season 2. I just dont enjoy parody anime and with the fantasy genre being as over saturated as it is being an anime that checks every trope box just to say "haha its a joke about other shows" is not only poor writing but also not funny and as equally bad if not worse than the shows they parody. In my opinion. I didnt hate it, i wouldnt even say i disliked it. Just lackluster and a bit disappointing is all.

oh yeah it for sure does. The first half of the first season is mid as fuck but it gets kinda worth watching later on. The second season is great, though it would also depend on your taste. But most probably you'll get hooked by at least the end of season 1. Season 2 is fun and action packed

By no means is it a must watch anime but it's not bad either. I would suggest you to complete season 1 and if it seems boring drop it because season 1 is better than 2.
