| I see Tokyo Godfathers and Toradora have been mentioned. r/anime used to do a yearly group watch arranged so that the xmas party ep (ep 21 or 24) lands on xmas eve. I did it as a first time watcher a few years back and it was fun. Not sure whether it's your cup of tea, but last xmas season best film I saw was Journey Through Fairyland, it's a bit like Disney's Fantasia with a story about a boy who travels to a fairy land, all put to classical music. Personally, I always rewatch some Slayers over xmas. Also pick up the hilarious Gintama xmas eps (one where a drunk Santa farts on Kagura, it's as dumb and stupid as it sounds). |

| dont listen to them. i was you 2 years ago and watched tokyo godfathers on xmas with my whole family. it ended up being the most boring piece of shit anime ever. trash story and just overall tremendously boring. we all ended up not enjoying it was such a waste of time. idk how that anime got its reputation as holiday movie when its so fucking boring you want the real holiday anime watching list here you go, you can't go wrong with any of these: clannad golden time honey and clover kanon nodame cantabile how to raise a boring girlfriend Just Because! toradora Oregairu Haikyuu can be a fun watch too. you can also add something like fruits basket, chihayafuru, anohana, k-on, teasing master takagi san, kono oto tomare, nisekoi can be really fun, sakurasou no pet na kanojo, say i love you. these are all relaxing, fun, wholesome, emotional animes with great story and characters. perfect to lay down and watch on tv during holidays. you'll have a blast. and the greatest Attack on Titan. when i first watched it, it was december of 2021. never had so much fun. peak times. |
