[Oshi No Ko]
| According to Anime Corner and a poll they conducted across social media, Akane is beating out Kana in the Oshi no Ko community at this point. It's a close match between both, to be fair, but it looks like Akane has definitely won everyone over this season. As a huge Akane fan since her very first appearance, this makes me very happy |

| @Gator Season 1 advantage. It will take a while to overcome that (in fact I am not sure how common it is for that to happen). | @Hickykissy Yes it gets way better Just keep watching, there's not a single boring part in s2, trust. But after s2, s3 prob would be quite a bit worse in terms of plot/ pacing. |

Akane's popularity will only keep rising as the series goes on. This season will adapt some of her best moments from the manga, and the finale will leave Akane on everyone's minds till S3 airs.
| @STK_Itsuka Idk, I feel Akane, Kana , and Melt shine way more in the 2.5D part. Aqua is kinda whatever really, no real growth. Also considering we have so many episodes left, we prob would get to see how Ruby "changes" too in the later half. |

| Akane was compelling and attractive as soon as I saw her. Of course she easily grew on me as things developed with her. That said my favorites are still Ruby and Kana, I laugh and smile more with those two. Akane comes in at 3rd place for me. I'ts also worth noting that here on Mal, Kana still leads by roughly 8100 favorites over Akane. That could change.. but I am doubtful. |

| This season focuses more on Akane so she deserves the spotlight and good to see her increased popularity. During S1 Kana was way more popular. She won more of these "polls & awards" As she had more spotlight with 2/4 arcs focusing on her. She is still genuinely most likeable character in the anime and deserves her popularity. I heard the next arc will be about Ruby and she gets same amount of popularity but I doubt it For me Kana>=Ruby>Akane. But this entire best girl war is toxic af, with people shit talking other girl😂 like Messi Ronaldo rivalry. weird af.. |
