| @ReXiRa that's an exception with the kizu novel since nisio said kizu is an exception and can be read by itself. the movies however lack the dialogues that made kizu stand on its own in the novel. also, i didn't catch that note when i posted that picture. fixed it |

While I am an advocate for LN release order, people can do whatever they want
Last thing I want to do is deter from people starting this series because all the fans can't seem to agree which order is best
| @ReXiRa it's not about fans agreement or a universal one. mono suffers from the same watch order syndrome that fate series has. fate stay night come out first and then fate zero followed later but because ufotable adapted fate zero first, a lot of anime onlies keep insisting to start with fate zero even tho it's supposed to be a sequel. to give u a western example, it would be like starting star wars with the sequels or prequels which is doable but like why would you do it and not start the series from the original story and go onward from there? u dig me? but yeah, fans being deterred by the notion of the series being complicated to watch can be annoying. i got ya on that |

I would say watching this first, and chronological order in general, is the best, but you should know the quality of the movies far surpasses the tv show. which isn't bad since I think the movies surpass all of anime ever made. but if you continue in chronological order, it is fairly annoying to so since you have to jump around seasons so often. but I do think it's more enjoyable chronologically, since release order just screws with your head

| i can see why ppl say to watch it in chronological order, its easier to follow, however if you do pay attention, watching it in ln order aint that confusing imo. If you decide to watch it, i recommend the ln order since it is the order the author intended. Plus i will also advise you to watch bake before kizu since bake establishes the characters, especially the protagonist. After watching bake you will have a grasp on the mc, how he acts, how he thinks, etc. Kizu doesnt do this, therefore watching kizu without this understanding, some scenes imo wont make sense and the conclusion will not have the same payoff. |
| @Phantomnocomics Just now I realized the @. Those of us who only watch the anime recommend watching it in broadcast order, because that way we get hooked and enjoy the series. (At least it's my case) It's good that those who read the LN recommend that order because it's the one the author prefers. Everyone is free to do what they want. I mean, It's just a recommendation post, everyone chooses what to follow and that's fine. For my part, I would like to read the LN someday, but they haven't been officially published in my country and I prefer not to read it pirated. |
