just because its an xml file it does not mean they are all the same code or format so nope you have to find a aniwatch xml converter to mal xml format

As pointed out by deg, while they are both .xml file, their internal format is not the same, which makes MAL fail to read it. You can try to look if someone made a script that can convert it. Otherwise, you'll have to transfer your list manually.

Same as above. It seems that there is no user script existing for this site tho, so you probably are forced to do it manually.

I was saying that to KAKASHI_61, which was asking the same thing, but for some other unknown site.

@Ayanokoji862006, you can try that one : https://github.com/Zai-Kun/AniWatch-AKA-Zoro-To-MyAnimeList
If it doesn't work, then yeah, you'll have no choice but to do it manually...

I had the same issue when trying to import my AniList XML to MyAnimeList. It turns out the XML format AniList uses isn't compatible with MyAnimeList's importer. I ended up using a converter tool to change the XML into a compatible format. If that doesn’t work, you might have to add the entries manually or check for any updates to the import tool.
