I personally think that Rie Takahashi could do a great job as Akane, and I can imagine Romi Park doing a good job as male Ranma

I think Megumi Hayashibara should finally graduate from voicing young girls, even If she can still "pull it".

We reached a decade when 2000s seiyu are starting to voice parents, and Hayashibara started working in 80s.

That said, I do think she will be new Goku one day.

- But if she, and Kappei Yamaguchi reprise their roles, also good.

I think Kikuko Inoue can reprise her role as Kasumi Tendo. After all, she is still 17.

It would be nice to hear Hayashibara-san and Yamaguchi-san again. But if they have recast Ranma's two voices, my vote goes to the Uchida siblings.

Ranma's OG VAs could perhaps cameo like Lum and Ataru's OG VAs did in UY all stars.

if Romi Paku is male Ranma, then why not Kugimiya Rie for female Ranma (or Shampoo), the two make great pair

They are likely gonna have a completely different cast with some of the legacy VAs coming in as side characters, just like the UY remake
