Why don't you find out? I'd argue every single anime in the top 10 is worth at least 3 episodes. If you like it, you like it. If you don't you don't. Either way is fine because it won't change in the slightest how other people feel about this anime. I'm not sure if it's even really worth a discussion.

It's not #1 worthy, but it's a good show, probably the best one of that season. It's not a slice of life (people misuse that term). It has an arch-narrative. It is shounen-ish, but I'd say it has some more mature introspection, so regardless of where it was published, probably seinen is more realistic. It's a show that makes you think, if you could identify with the characters' perspectives. There are themes of the passage of time, human connections and how different people deal with death.
