| I’m just about to finish rewatching the 2nd season so I’m wondering do i have to watch movies before i pick season 3, as I haven’t watched them in my first watch. |

As people have said, the ensemble contest OVA and the third movie are very important for linking to the third season.
Liz and the Blue Bird isn’t essential at all, but it is easily the best thing to have come out of the series; it’s my favourite movie of all time, and I think you’d be hard pressed to find someone who didn’t see even any brilliance in it. So yeah, I’d recommend checking it out.

| @AkiraMiyazaki17 I already watched Liz and blue bird, in fact i recently rewatched it (liked it even more now) as I'm rewatching the whole series before I start new season and I will get back to the other movies too when I'll get the time coz it seems they are quite important to the story. |
