Kaguya is shit , atleast in the romance aspect. Really have no idea where that romance hype comes from

@DivinityV12 bro scoring solo leveling with 7 while ragna crimson with 9 lmao, i can tell that your taste is just bad
@2oe and you thought solo levelling was good? It runs off of the hype from the 1st 3 episodes, the rest is mediocre |

The only thing that "disappointed" me a little was that they didn't kiss and they even baited us with a kiss. But it was also a cute scene and Ichikawa got a kiss on the cheek. |

In Kaguya sama they did something out of ordinary to confess, something would never happen in real life, so in comparison I prefer Boku no Kokoro to be honest, honest and simple, exactly what happened with me and my wife. Dont take me wrong, I LOVE Kaguya sama. |

So I think the ending was good but a little frustrating but I was a little disappointed cause kaguya sama season 3 has set the bar way too high for me and that's why I wasn't satisfied with the ending although it was great and feel more of a teenage confession why is more realistic and not over dramatic like kaguya so what do you guys think was all of you satisfied or a little bit disappointed cause your expectations were very high like me

There are no spoilers but sorry if I miss it :
for me in terms of romance, the best is dangers in my heart, not drama or random bullshit, and the think is , in next season this anime will change your mind, because the best part is yet to come , my favourite part of this series will be animated in season 3, and that's will definitely blow your mide away. this will definitely surpass kaguya because just by reading manga I felt that and for me that is better then kaguya.
@_otaku_man00 do you mind telling me what it is your so excited for? I don't mind spoilers |

yh this anime was very sub par, I wouldn't even call it a romance with how little it had in it.
there's no relationship, excessively cringe scenes and no plot development unlike in love is war where it actually builds up the romance whilst also including elite level of comedy.

I personally have never felt more hyped from when yamada said "you are my everything and I love you" I think the thing that made this confession so good was that in the episode we had this mid ass confession from kyotaru and was a little disappointed but then we had in my opinion the best confession that I've seen especially with the tears and everything I personally was tearing up just by how emotionally attached this show has made me this season. I'm not really sure where they are going to go from here I'm sure it still will be super cute and everything but I don't know how they can have another moment as hype as the confession because they have had 2 season building this up especially this season. To be fair I have never seen kaguya Sama I've tried but at least for me binging it has been hard just bc the comedy seems a little over the top like it's forcing down your throat but I will eventually try to watch. |

A really good end in my point of view, but little frustrating I agree with that point, because a good part of us wanted to see the final kiss, but the way it went was funny so it's okay. The declaration was sweet and the animation really matched with it. So yeah, It was a really good end. |

I WANT a season 3, but I don't think it NEEDS a season 3. Ending with a confession is pretty much always satisfying, even more so if it's done well- and this one was beautiful. I managed to avoid spoilers, so I was actually very pleasantly surprised that we got the confession. I usually expect something of this magnitude to happen in a third season of a rom-com (ex. kaguya sama or what not) I am very satisfied. Which is a good thing; because if season 3 does come, it will probably be a long, long time from now. |

it was great and feel more of a teenage confession why is more realistic and not over dramatic like kaguya Nah bro, both are too dramatic. I dont understand why they had to cry so much, as if the mc just met the girl that saved his and his family's life or something like that. id argue dangers in my heart is more dramatic in this sense |

I liked his graduation speech better than the confession.I liked s1 better kaguya sama s3 was good but the kiss was underwhelming. I feel more emotion when ishigami tries to rizz the senpai than the main couple |

Why is there no middle option, like "met, but not exceeded my expectations", or "could be worse, could be better"? Why do we have to operate in outdated, inaccurate, binary terms just like in politics? Give us more of a spectrum next time. |

Had Ichikawa been 2cm taller, they'd have been able to kiss. Would've rated it 10/10 in that case. Nevertheless, one of the best romance anime. 9/10. |

Bokuyabas ost is the one thing people will constantly praise the series for and that's a fact no matter how much you cry that it's nothing noteworthy lolll lool sure bud, you can keep imagining that all you want but ive seen no praise at all. sure for the movie he did but not for the mid garbage you're referring to. you're sounding more and more delusional each time. Trying to downplay the praise for the ost is so funny cuz that's literally where most of the praise for the anime comes from. Just know you're in the minority bub cuz most people love Bokuyabas ost and judging by the reception of the show by both the west and Japan i say thats alot proceeds to give no actual examples... you're really not proving anything but just coping a point thats obviously not true. no ones said anything about the soundtrack and it's just people who like a boring slice of life with nearly no actual romance. aka another takagi san where there's only "cute" moments and an extremely cringey protagonist. only this one has homo erotic imaginations of himself. |

It was fine but kinda lame since a big theme of the show was the main character manning the fuck up and doing what he wants regardless of the outcome and asking her out was the clear end goal of that and then he doesn't do it and she asks him out instead. The confession also feels underwhelming when the scene before they were in bed together bodies fully touching and like 2 millimeters from kissing and then instead he just says "I like u" the next day. This is the same dude who wanted to murder and take advantage of her corpse btw. Tldr: the previous intimate moments they've had felt more engaging than the lackluster confession we've already seen 100 times, would ever argue it was forced. If they didn't have more intimate moments already the confession would have been more impactful |

"Suki da" can also be translated as "I love you" instead of just "I like you". If this isn't enough "manning the fuck up" for you, I don't want to know what is. ;-) |

I'm not saying the ending we got was shit but it clearly could have been so much better by actually giving yamada what she wants and letting ichikawa grow |

@Antivist64 Well, let's agree to disagree then, but let me explain my pov: If Ichikawa had confessed first, that would have been out of character for him, or lets say 200% out of his confort zone and in my opinion rather unrealistic when considering how the story pushed the growing relationship forward. In the letter to Hanzawa, Yamada described Ichikawa as a shy cat. Him suddenly being a ferocious Tiger going all out and asking her out on top of confessing to her, nah, that would have been jumping the shark for me. I'm happy enough how the episode ended there and him grabbing Yamadas hand at the very end with self-confidence & her being surprized is enough proof for me how much he changed since the beginning. |

I agree with most of this, but I don't think him asking her out would consider him the opposite of his personality since it took him so much time to get to that point with internal dilemmas reoccurring from his own cowardice. ultimately I just don't like this idea where the main character basically had everything spoon fed to him (knowing with multiple sources of concrete evidence likes him for example) all while wanting to "be more of a man" and acting on "what he wants" yet at the end of the day he didn't ask her out. I'd also argue that yamada's little speech at the end would have had more emotional impact from the PoV of her being asked out by him, since it's obvious how badly she wanted that. The needle can be threaded here since the source material doesn't end here and if he finished growing right now then there would be no point in continuing the story, but taking this season in isolation, the ending could have been stronger, especially when they've basically grinded on each other's bodies multiple times. and we all know the story beats from here. they want to kiss but due to haha funny moments and awkwardness it never happens until the perfect moment aka the end of the arc. (I haven't read the manga so forgive my ignorance if I'm mistaken) |
