me too, putting the tendency to rail him aside, the guy's reliable and responsible on top of that he is a great friend.

But the greatest impact was in the future when he turned into a badass swordsman, idk what anyone says that was one of the most manliest things I have ever seen

Ruka is ok, not my favorite character but I don't dislike him or anything.

I do love his ending in the VN, it's my 2nd favorite ending, and my favorite one is Suzuha's ending, those aren't happy endings btw, they are dark.
