So apparently the girls and scene were toned down a lot in the remake. Kind of a shame given how greatthe og scene was. What do you think of this change? Really shows how bad censorship in 2024 is that even girls having fun with guys is now some taboo to show. |

| I'm not surprised, it's sadly the norm to expect changes in remakes. Not that I was going to buy it anyway though, $70 for the base game with no dlc included is insane. |

| I wouldn't really call this censorship. A lot of 2D animated cutscenes from the original game were changed to in engine cutscenes with more limited animations or 3D animated cutscenes like certain plot moments in Persona 5. It's really just adapting the scene in engine and bringing it more in line with P5 and how it chose what scenes were 2D animated, 3D animated, and in engine. The game overall isn't toned down at all from the people who have gotten their hands on it with the plot remaining the same and the dark themes being kept. P3 is my second favorite game in the series (2 is my favorite) and the remake is an overall fantastic rendition of the game and does improve in certain areas the original was lacking in. Sure, some cutscenes being turned from 2D to in engine kind of sucks, but the important big moments are still done justice. This blob scene is really unimportant in the long run and only is really there to establish what happens to non-Persona users who end up being transported into the Dark Hour and the Reload still shows this pretty well even if we dont see the guy physically collapse. |

| @deg Good for them I guess but I really can't take games journalism seriously as they overrate everything (among other things). Nothing against P3, I like the original but I'd rather see your average gamer guy on youtube play it. I even trust /v/, the worst board of 4chan, more. |
