Jjk is better in dub or sub? I watched 4 eps in sub but I don't understand anything, the subs are just too fast and not understandable

If you can’t keep up with the subtitles, definitely watch it dubbed. I personally prefer the voice acting in the sub more, but it sounds like the dubs a better fit for you.

Idk why in recent ( this season ) sub translator just translating like a paragraph which is also not perfect and using bizzare words .
where I can keep up reading sub with 1.5 x speed , but I can't even keep up properly in normal speed this season's anime .

Well its always about the preference, if you can't keep up with the speed then definitely wait for the episodes to be dubbed (I also like watching Dub not because I can't keep up but I just like the dubbed ones)

The original is superior as well. But 'I am a non Japanese person' watching dub makes me a lot comfortable to that anime, it means to me watch anime, not reading. Since I am missing Ara. Ara. ,it same as me Oh. My. ,I am not missing anything. Best is to watch in original which means sub, but it is way more true that dub is way more comfortable to an outsider. And I want to say it again, 'Original is superior' .

It’s up to you. The English dub is pretty decent. Try a few eps in dub and see if you like it. If you do, great! If not, maybe pause the show and read the dialogue that’s flashing too quick. As long as you’re still able to enjoy the show, use what’s comfortable to you.

I personally prefer it dubbed so I can focus on what's happening on screen, plus I enjoy the dub cast more (Brazilian dub cast, I mean).
Just go with whatever you feel more comfortable with.

For jjk, I typically would say dub. but this season... some english va's be dropping the ball.

I like english Yuji and Sukuna much more than the japanese voices.

I have seen the dub, and most of the sub.

and i have no bias against dubs.

but I'll just say it.

in this case sub is better for sure.

that said

I personally still preffer the dub because i don't wanna keep pausing or not be able to fully focus on y
the visuals when it comes to a show like jjk.

and imma just say it. comedy anime is almost always better in dub because jokes are just funnier when you actually hear them.

the sub has better acting overall but honestly, the dub is sincerely one of the best ones out there so it isn't a huge difference. JJK does a lot of explaining techniques and things in the middle of fights and honestly even if you have to forgo the VA quality slightly it is much easier to appreciate the animation if the explanations are in a language you can understand without having to divert your attention to read the subs

I have seen a couple episodes in dub its not that bad buuut for episodes with Nanami... its a MUST for subbed. Kenjirou's voice is too good man lol.

Always hated dubs except for Outlaw Star, Big O and Gundam Wing, the rest were cringe for me. I'm a sub guy since ages ago, but I gotta agree here, the subs for this series are too fast and hard to understand a lot of times, gotta pause sometimes to fully understand what they are saying.

Yeah you’re right it is all subjective. But even if the Death Note dub was just ok to you, Konosuba is 10x funnier in dub and that’s a fact 😂

Yeah you’re right it is all subjective. But even if the Death Note dub was just ok to you, Konosuba is 10x funnier in dub and that’s a fact 😂

I'd say the sub is better but the dub is also pretty good. Certain voices I like better in the dub such as Gojo but other one's miss the mark like Toji. Nanime is one where I like both voices, but the Japanese VA delivers a better overall performance.

@Lyric_Celler Ahhhhh here's the thing, although I've heard the Kaguya dub from YouTube and whatnot I feel like I wouldn't like it as much because I like the absurd seriousness of the narrator. Like I (kinda, somtimes, maybe?) agree that Hayasaka is best girl 😂 but the show would feel different to me with that extra goofiness and I don't really want that to happen since I loved it so much the first time. Also because I've come to like it so much I just can't hear them as the same characters in english. All in all though, yea me disagreeing here is purely my personal opinion and I can see why so many others would think that.

Since I first started watching Kaguya I wanted to watch it dubbed after I watch it subbed because I've heard it's a completely different experience each time with the different narrator. I think it's fun having Chika voiced by the same gal that does Mina Hibino in Teasing Master Takagi-san (which I watch subbed) although I know the narrator from How Heavy are the Dumbbells You Lift? which I'm watching dubbed and love. So I intend to watch it again.
