Now there is none of that or only final product showed while Marin cosplays. Gojou is non reactive passive robot made to make cosplay. Marin suffers from amnesia she forgot that she wanted to confess. | This has been the best arc in quite a while, but I agree it takes years to develop in this monthly format. The art looks beautiful so I won't complain. Now, if we can get some development after comiket instead of going back to square 1, that would be nice. |

TLDR: I understand the frustration with these recent chapters but let’s also wait until we can see the full story (at least those that are reading because their interested in story, no point talking to those who are just hating to hate) before we go full rage and write my dress up darling off as a shit story.
I don’t really ever post in these discussions but this one actually peaked my interest because I somewhat agree with both sides. I truly enjoy this story and am fully invested in the development of gojo and marin. Nothing will sway me from that. But I also have not been all that captivated by these past few chapters as I was in the beginning, so I get being frustrated with the content that we’re getting right now. It hasn’t felt like much progress has been made since the school festival arc. As someone who reads a combination of both when individual chapters are released and when volumes are published, I have to wonder how some of these arcs (especially this Christmas arc) will feel as a continuous story. Right now we’re getting nibble sized pieces of the story once a month and it was sporadic chapter releases before that, so every chapter seems like an individual story (especially since my memory of previous chapters get foggy because of spread out releases) and feel unsatisfied. But when everything is put into one continuous read these chapters will feel better or maybe even welcomed additions to the arc. I’m not really sure where I was going with this, kinda just rambling but I’ve already typed so might as well as post it.

| Marin has everyone under her spell. Her archangel Haniel cosplay is eerie but mesmerizes onlookers, and even long-time readers if My Dress-Up Darling. I love the progression of the story, but like many MAL users above said, this arc could use some "story/content". Where is all this going? We just have to find out. All others aside, I love Akira shouting "Princess", and the mesmerized onlookers are in it as well. Marin's cheerful smile along with Haniel's eeriness just adds a cheer to my day 😃. |

| When I see waiting for story posts, I always remember that meme of guy bending over someone's plate on the table and the other guy is asking: Why are you shitting on my plate? And the third guys says: How do you know it's shit? It's not out yet. If you guys are content just with pretty images good for you I guess. Those who says just wait for the story you are really overestimating writing capabilities of this Author. As I was saying in post above she got rid of Gojou parents and friends cos she couldn't figure out the way how Marin and Gojou would interact naturally. Only thing Gojou thinks about is doing the one thing and that is making cosplay or Hina dolls nothing other is on his mind. No other thoughts. This would put him on the spectrum easily. But sometimes he is forced by the author to do something out of character and that is expressing ideas like convincing Juju sister to try cosplay. Characters are inconsistent, illogical and soulless. And story is getting dragged on for months. But yippee, pretty girl cosplaying and smiling 10/10.  |

Also I'm lovign the artistic development of Gojou and the build up to him finally finding his own style, thanks to opening his eyes to very different art styles, as simbolised by the bisque-dolls also mentioned in the title. I also look forward to seeing the author of this series, which has gotten enough introduction to come in as a character now that Marin is bringing to life his Haniel the way he didn't trust anyone would manage, and I do believe that interacting with him could be a moment of growth for Gojou and Marin. For this reason, I am convinced that your point about this arc being boring and meaningless just because it's not very fast paced and focusing a lot on the artwork is void. |

| Cringe inner thoughts aside, the art in itself is praiseworthy. Though Marin pulling off the "intended" smile and expressions to such perfection do seem like a stretch to me. Also, I seriously hope we'd conclude this comiket saga by the next chapter or at most the one after that... please. This has been going on since forever. |
