I think Shanks would be more fitting.
Having Shanks sacrifice himself to save Luffy is to predictable. That's the same thing Ace did.

| @The-Nsider Well having Luffy and Shanks fighting is bound to happen regardless. The reasoning for the fight is up for debate. We still don’t really know Shanks background and what his true goals are. |
