Yes, this chapter says otherwise but if you read the past chapters (even the recent chapter 90 I believe) it showed Akane mentioning to her family, multiple times over multiple chapters! that she has a new, wonderful boyfriend. And this chapter mentioned that her family DOES talk about her relationship status to him and others. Author straight up forgot their own story. This is what happens when they asspull a random childhood friend about 100 chapters deep and some scar that magically was never seen by Yamada or anyone else. Dude is literally nothing and shouldn't exist. I felt uncomfortable by the “mistake” the author made too, about Daichi not knowing about Akane’s current relationship status. Whole family knows so no reason daichi doesnt. I am still hoping about a good explanation to come forth. Since starting dating yamada, Akane came to her hometown twice I think. She didn’t think about meeting up with Takaya, understandable, they lost touch. Why was Takaya not thinking either? Sigh. Maybe he feels guilty about the accident that happened. |
